When without possession of the ball, I observe the opponents in the two previous games and determine whether I force them to play on the wings or inside, during the matches I define this, in each match for each opponent

Too many draws, not enough goals scored in Bundesliga
Got FMed in the Cup final 5-4 against 5-4, while leading 4-2 on 72 minute
In Europa League got classical 2 red cards, lost against Betis
And of course release clause for Frimpong made damage, since I wasn't able to find proper replacement for him, so after winter transfer window I missed some passes from the right wing obviously

@zigmmund Thanks for sharing, I use this tactic more defensively, with two ball retrievers and without the mobile organizer, but is there anything you could change in the tactic to improve?
zigmmund
Bayer has decent starting XI but not very good bench, so maybe if there were better rotation the results could have been better. Also I haven't changed tactic when I was playing big teams like Bayern/Dortmund etc, maybe you should go balanced so the team won't be so attack oriented including player roles

because that's what I said at the beginning of the post, because I use this tactic with low lines, and a defensive mentality as well as two midfielders who recover the ball, to play in Champions League games and against Porto and Sporting in the championship and they did very well.
