Should have the FM24 Update out by tonight

Hi, I want to play with a Swiss lower division club and I downloaded your updated data base but I only have access to first 2 swiss division on a new career as the vanilla game. Can someone helps me out please ? Thanks 

@dcadra our update doesn't add new leagues you need specific updates for that which are quite difficult to make. I'm not aware that anyone has made one for Switzerland yet.

Dude, I'm from Brazil and I'm changing some transfers here in Brazil but no one enables the transfers I'm making

hi im wondering if im doing something wrong but in my game bo svensson is still manager of mainz 05 with the data update.

The data update/submissions section only show 10 pages for me. Is it an error or you updated the webpage?

@MT90  Yeah it'll only show 10 pages, is there a reason to go back further than 10 pages?

Just a heads up to everyone, Japan should be treated like South America and all other leagues that around November-January. Future transfers for January should be set to immediate transfers during December. You can still set the January date as the contract start date.

I don't know all the dates for all the leagues off the top of my head but just try to use common sense.

The rule for England is that July 1st transfers are set to instant transfers in June but future transfers in May. Apply a similar rule to whatever country it is you're editing.

@Footygamer Would it be possible to add to the “IMPORTANT” section of the Edit page, that Free Agents should have their Club, Contract Expiry Date and Contract Start Date removed, instead of setting “Will Leave At End Of Contract” to “Yes”? I've seen people do the latter, instead of the former and its a pain to reset. Also, would it be possible to have a change to Player Profiles, so the Public Profiles are on that page, above “Data Update Data”, instead of part of the Edit Page? I often find myself needing to go onto the Edit Page, just to check the sources a player has.

RE Leave at end: I assume you mean that people are being given “Will leave at end of contract” even when their contract ends on January 15th or similar?

These should actually be being caught by an automated script that releases players with expired contracts and ends expired loans automatically every night. However I just noticed it wasn't working and have no fixed it.

Also @CTxCB links to official sources are added based on proofs every month or so (admittedly sometimes I forget a few months go by).

You can also add them manually yourself like so:

@Footygamer Makes sense why I was going through old bits of the queue, and seeing stuff like “Will Leave At End of Contract”, and those contracts were already expired, as of Jan 1st.

There was a bug in the automatic imports whereby transfers where being given crazy transfer fees, this was just a visual error in how it was displayed in the description and didn't affect anything, but it has been fixed now anyway.

@Krebwy has pointed out that some of the transfermarkt imports are overwriting previously approved submissions such as Gustavo Scarpa.

I've now changed it so that transfermarkt imports won't overwrite previously approved submissions.

You can find these in the auto transfers page using the “Has existing submission” status instead.

It might be better to import them as “pending” instead so they can be checked? I'm not sure, but for now you have to use the auto transfers page to find them.

Just Downloaded The Latest Update and doesnt seem the transfer of Sancho And Dier are in there

Does the data update work with the real world database?

is the data update compatible with the Realism mod? Or do I need to disable one (or more) of the Realism mod files?

They're completely different and completely compatible. Ours is transfers + promotions and relegations. The realism mod doesn't include those things.

Can someone help me with loan transfers in the pre-game editor? I put the start date of the loan period on January 1st 2024, but ingame they got loaned out at the start of the season. Does someone know how I can fix that? Thank you!

Is there a way to have the January transfers happen in the game in January and not from the beginning of the season in the real world mode?

To answer both of you, no it's not possible SI haven't properly released the feature for the pre game editor so it's not possible e.g.  player releases, manager movements and loans are all not possible. 

Please translate to English before posting. 

And the update is released everyday when a mod has the time and ability to convert it to an FMF.

Just posting publicly what @TheMinsterman has said privately about updating the Argentinian leagues.

Currently working on Argentina but it's not wanting to work for some reason, I'll move on to another league and come back it it.

 

Largely it's a case of the 2024 season start date not recognising the “Teams for Next Season in Division," this will definitely be fixed when SI do their Jan Window patch. the simple fix would be to just override the 2023 start date with the 2024 season (which is the format for the summer update) but I can see if anybody else has had any issues and a workaround for the next month or so too.
