just a heads up that yesterday's data update that i downloaded from here seemed to revert a few changes (klopp and xavi's contracts showing as they were before their announced departure). see attached screenshot. thank you.

Hi, why is in data update only 3 leagues? Thanks for answer.

@Matej Semenec  Those are the leagues that have had promotions and relegations recently because their season ended.

Just a reminder that sometimes the ID's linking to other sources like transfer market can be wrong, e.g. it seems like in Macedonia “Akademija Pandev” (47059823) has been replaced in FM24 with “AP Brera” (2000262783) and the ID was still linked to the old team.

You moderated a few of these @Club Almagro if you see submissions like this that are mistakes and they're under my name it usually means they're automated and the ID is wrong. You can see the linked profiles in lots of places around the site. I've just noticed that there's no way to edit the IDs for teams only for players so i'll add that to my todo list to make it easier.

Hi not sure if its a me problem but the data update seems to be stuck a few weeks back for me, ive deleted my old data update and delted the game to try the newest update but it seems to be stuck around the 20th every transfer after that hasnt gone across 

28 jan Update File has 121054 changes and 555kb size but today's (31 Jan) Update File has only 100108 changes and 454kb size. Update FIle should be checked.

This is the second time this has happened this week, and every time someone named Rob releases the update

@Footygamer This would really help me out here. Is it possible that, on a club's profile, e.g: https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/team/339, there's a panel with some stuff between the search bar and the first player in the list? Something like this…
 

…Basically I'd like a way of opening all players (or staff) pages (in the same window, alphabetically as new tabs), for example, of a specified source (e.g: transfer-market-player), only skipping pending or active edits in which the player is moving or has moved to that club. If the Source, and Moved to Club preference can be saved, even better. This would save me a great deal of time as I currently have to do this manually.

@CTxCB it's quite difficult to open multiple tabs like this, the browsers prevent this since historically it's a common way for spammy sites to make you visit 50 websites full of ads at once.

You should be able to hold Ctrl or Cmd and quickly click in everyone on the list.

What I could do is have a button that scrapes all of them for specific information and displays it nicely on one page. ("Scraping" means a script is coded to visit the page and download and extract information). So if you wanted all contract information from transfer market you could press a button and it runs and then gives you a page with just:

Name: John Doe

Team: Man Utd

Expires: 2024-10-10

Joined: 2015-10-10

etc

However since somewhere like transfermarkt is very slow this would probably take several minutes.

@adriano roberto @matty664 @KIM, TaeHyung i've been trying to work on automating the creation of FMF so that people don't have to wait for a human to come online and do it (and often wait until the evening when people are home from work) but it seems to occasionally hiccup.

For the record i've been using a remote windows machine and the program “Power Automate” to automate the 10 or so clicks it takes to load the DB, import an XML and save an FMF. I haven't been able to figure out why it's sometimes going wrong but i'll disable it for now.

If anyone has any other suggestions how it could be automated i'd be all ears.

Here's a compromise… Could you make a panel exactly like the one I showed (just with List All instead of Open All), with the same functionality, but make it so it takes all the information, and lists it all on a neat page? The difficulty for me is differentiating between player and staff more than anything, so having a nice list I could generate that just has the names with a link next to them, e.g: transfer-market-player and are players or are staff, with the option to exclude players who have moved to the club with an edit, cutting out anybody who doesn't have any info, or doesn't have the specified source. I think that would be fine also.

Will Fm 24 release official player update in winter patch?

No it can't work with real world. SI haven't implemented the feature properly so we can't do loans, or release players or release or appoint staff.

They'll have to fix it in the February update otherwise the official Real World update won't work either. So hopefully they do.

• The ability to filter to show  All / Players Only / Staff Only / Transfers In Only / Players without Transfers In
• The ability to choose which links show e.g. only show transfer markt or soccerbase 
• The ability to filter only people who do or don't have a specific external link

@Footygamer Yes, but on any club profile (not player profiles), that panel to exist at the top of the list. Make sure transfer-market-player and transfer-market-non-player are two separate sources, though.

Will their february official fm 24 update have players update like Perisic to Hajduk so I can play real world game?

@Mladoliki Majmun you would assume so, otherwise you should ask for your money back

@Wendfero I don't know enough about Brazil to know what changes about the presidents. Are they people that are already in the game or do they have to be created?

Yeah, should be good to go with a file to set up next years Libertadores format.

Biggest concern for summer is going to be Europe and the new format as it’s obviously not set up in the default files which are set up to use input for the sadly no defunct format.

@Footygamer According to the Patch Notes, “Fixed issue where player transfers would not take effect in Real World mode” is implemented. Hopefully it works now, and it doesn't make adding transfers more difficult on this when the ability to make edits here returns. Would it be possible to, before editing returns, add a very minor functionality: Can you add a checkbox on the edit page for Will Retire At End of Contract. I've found it confusing about what to do when Players announce Retirement IRL?

@CTxCB yeah i've looked into it and loans and free transfers work now.

Manager and other non player movements are still impossible but that seems intentional.

Hello I just started playing with Manchester United with new winter official data update. Ratclifee does not own Manchester. Will he buy it after? Also there is player with wrong day birth Godwill Kukoni?

Ratcliffe bought Manchester after the data lock (when SI closed the transfers two weeks prior to the update release) as per Miles tweet. However, there's a new update for next month and it will be reflected. 

Also, if you find a wrong birthdate, you can go to sigames forums where they have a forum for these things 😀
