Contract extention

Hi all,

I'm having an issue which I don't understand. Hope you guys can help me out.

My plan was to extend contracts of a few players but, for me, a weird message came back:

The date in-game right now is Sept 23rd 2023. The contract is expiring in June 2024.

I don't actually understand the problem because I can offer them a longer contract that they already have. Am I missing something?

It's probably a bug with the text and he means the player doesn't want a longer contract and it would be impossible to negotiate one that's only 9 months long.
