This is the third version of the 'FM22 & FM23 - Scandinavian Super League System' file i created below

https://sortitoutsi.net/content/59804/fm22-scandinavian-super-league-system

https://sortitoutsi.net/content/63029/fm23-scandinavian-super-league-system

This is a five tier Scandinavian league system created with three cup competitions.

I have combined the league systems of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland & The Faroe Islands.

Top tier - Goldliga - 20 Teams x 1 division
2nd tier - Silverliga - 10 Teams x 3 divisions (Teams play each other 4 times in each division, and then 2nd place in each divison compete in a Promotion playoff)
3rd tier - Bronzeliga - 25 Teams x 2 divisions
4th tier - Ironliga - 50 Teams x 1 division (teams play each other once)
5th tier - Woodliga - 50 Teams x 2 divisions (teams play each other once)

Super Shield - A Super Cup fixture between the Goldliga winner and the Main Domestic cup winner
Main Domestic Cup - All teams drawn in first round, and mapped out until the final so you can see who you'll possibly meet in later rounds
Second Domestic Cup - A youth orientated cup, with two legs per tie, Teams can only field players under 23 and all players must be from the country the club is based with one over 23 player allowed for emergencies.

Further rules
Squads in the Goldliga are limited to 30 players and 1 foreign goalkeeper.

A technique you could use to maintain the european places of each of the Scandi nations could be to keep them in their domestic cups so that if they win them they will take the european place for that nation.

This is how Lichtenstein club FC Vaduz can qualify for europe for Lichtenstein despite being in the Swiss league

Hey, Thanks for the input i really enjoy reading feedback.

I did initally think of the ‘Vaduz’ rule however ultimately i preferred to create the cup formats that i chose. I also considered the idea that each country should have the same amount of European spots but it defeats the purpose of the formats of the other competitions. I really wanted there to be flat competition rather than the complexity of only really caring about beating the teams from your country.

I like that the real main enemy of the game is FC København, if they get loose from the pack at the start its incredibly hard to reel them in and every time you play against them it feels like anything less than a hammering is a decent result. On the other hand, the more money they get, the better they become in Europe its ultimately better for the UEFA coefficients and then the league as a whole. I like a one club long game in FM, starting in the Woodliga/Ironliga is where i like to start and then fight upwards.

Thanks again, its something i'll definitely consider in future, i'm hoping FM25's editor will be different and have alot more functionality to make these changes easily.

Great work as usual! And you’re absolutely right about København becoming the main enemy. Four seasons in and København and I have won two titles each

This is awesome, created a database like this back in the days. Should maybe be called Nordic Super League cause Scandinavia is just Sweden, Denmark and Norway. But who cares haha.

Will deffo give it a try!

For some reason a lot of British people consider Finland to be a part of Scandinavia.

Hello, I downloaded the pack, extracted it and placed in the game set up file. However when I try to load in the game setup it says the file can't be imported. What have I done wrong, I'm pretty new to downloading stuff.

Hi, if you use the old pack it should be fine, however you may have to replace the kits.

Sorry i couldn't be more helpful.

Hi, Could it be you're loading in another data file with changes from the Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish or Icelandic leagues?
