Good luck with Rangers though matey. shame your other career didn't work out.

This is the thread I am talking about as I took Rangers from the Scottish Third Division to the Scottish Premier Division in back to back promotions that I was delighted with. Can I do the same this time around? It’s going to be tricky.
I’ve a plan to do the same game by game updates Fola and others do in the succession game so I hope they don’t mind as I’ve given them credit but I will perhaps ask before I do so but they shouldn’t have a problem with it.
Managerial career:
Rangers: 3 July 2012 - Present
Trophy cabinet:
It's time to get this started again!

Too late Rick mate, I've bad mouthed Dumbarton.
Cheers, I'd love to have the same success I had the first time around but it's going to be tricky.
I've made my first signing.
Arriving at the club is former player Kevin Thomson who has signed a five-year deal following his release from Championship side Middlesbrough. At the age of 27 I'm expecting him to be an integral part of the side as I attempt to get straight promotions to the Scottish Premier League. Thomson will start in the centre of midfield alongside Ian Black.

Second signing of the summer has seen Ben Gordon join the club on a free transfer following his release from Chelsea. He's a left back who should provide excellent back-up for Lee Wallace. The youngster has had two loan spells previously in Scotland with Kilmarnock.

I couldn't have asked for a better start to our competition season as we trounced Second Division side Ayr 6-2 in front of over 43,000 fans at Ibrox.
Goals from Lee McCulloch and Kevin Thomson on his debut had us 2-0 but Ayr scored twice to level proceedings before half time. Four goals in the final 20 minutes from McCulloch who scored twice to complete his hat trick, Andy Little and an own goal made the final score convincing and sent us into the second round of the Challenge Cup.

Our League Cup campaign started against First Division side Airdrie at Ibrox and we demolished them 4-0.
Two David Templeton goals inside the opening twenty minutes had us in control before Lee McCulloch added a third after forty one minutes - the former Wigan man added his second and our fourth of the game after 65 minutes.

We started the league season with a well deserved victory over Elgin City.
Northern Ireland international Andy Little opened the scoring after only 8 minutes before Lee McCulloch scored a hat trick as he struck after 31, 40 and 75 minutes before Elgin scored a consolation goal just three minutes later.

Well done on bringing K-T back! I always rated him (when he wasn't injured).
Good luck! COYBIB!

They're an awesome side, what can I say?
You followed my previous Rangers career and I'm pleased this will be no different.
Kevin was a no-brainier of a signing as the lad was available on a free and was interested. So far he hasn't been injured. *touch wood that stays the same*
He hasn't been injured since arriving...yet.
Our second round Challenge Cup tie had us up against fellow Third Division side Elgin and we needed penalties to advance. Lee McCulloch scored a treble for an under-strength Teddy Bears side (due to international call-ups) but I'm just pleased we're through.

A full strength Rangers side travelled to Queen's Park and secured an sensational 7-0 victory.
Lee McCulloch struck a first half hat trick inside 37 first half minutes before Dean Shiels added a fourth in first half stoppage time. Central defender Sebastian Faure added a fifth before Andy Little made it half a dozen for the league favourites and then Lee McCulloch added his fourth and Rangers' seventh on eighty-two minutes.

We caused a League Cup upset with victory at SPL side St. Mirren. Andy Little broke the deadlock after eighteen minutes but the Premier League side turned it around in the first half but two goals from Dean Shiels inside the final fifteen minutes caused the upset. The Buddies were then reduced to ten men in stoppage time.
