Is there a way to take over as an existing manager?

After seeing todays news about Arne Slot (who might become the new Liverpool manager) I was very keen on taking over Liverpool with him and using this as my new save. But now I am trying to figure out how I can use him as ‘’my'' manager. I've been trying to sort it out with the ingame editor but just can't find a way. I would love to hear the solution to this!

I can only find a way to add a non existing manager, I want to use him with history etc.

Yes 🙂 (I've bought it for the first time this year so I have no clue how it works)

click on arne slot and move to new club (although that may not be the scousers)

But then I cannot use him as my manager. I want my manager to be removed and use Arne Slot as my own if that makes sense?

I take this to mean you want to play as actually being him?

you cant ‘’takeover'' being him he is already in the game as an AI manager- you cant become him and control him

you could add yourself as a manager called Arne Slot and play that way but of course you wouldnt have his history etc but you would need to retire the original Slot or change his name etc

but you cant ‘play’ as a character already in the game that is not possible

However- if you want the  Arne Slot to move to Liverpool in a save game you can just transfer him there using the IGE
