Hi, i love Mourinho´s tactic and yours is really spot on to what he is doing rn. Is there any tactical change you would make when trying to defend a lead?

You can keep the center of the pitch crowded by making the mid-block press deeper. You can shorten the passing distance and reduce ball losses with it.

when you say making the mid-block press deeper you mean like using the “drop off” instruction?

I mean the low block press. Actually when I tested it I scored 2 more goals with the low block press than I did with the mid block press against Galatasaray. Even when you play with a slightly more defensive approach you score plenty of goals.
