Understood - just FYI, the Data Update system only allows to reflect the latest status for a player (i.e. it doesn't record the history of changes to the player). As such, by the time I was moderating the submission, it made sense for me to amend it to reflect the club he had moved to. I left the comment so you understood why I hadn't just approved your submission.
Amending submission as both the original submitter's source and another source (Transfermarkt) both confirm he has moved to Orebro Syrianska, rather than being released.

I know it seems unclear but someone at transfermarkt messed it up. I support Degerfors IF as its my local club and De Pievre Ilunga is still playing and training for them. Has he returned on loan? I can see the last match he played for his former club was in August, before his transfer date.

Täby FK. De Pievre Ilunga now has a contract until 31st December 2026 starting on 20th August 2024. It's his brother thats been transferred to Täby FK. Ilunga still plays for Degerfors IF.
