Hello,
the Club CFC Hertha 06 should be deleted and/or replaced by the Charlottenburger FC Berlin.
Background:
On December 21, 2023, the association filed an application with the Charlottenburg district court to open insolvency proceedings, which were rejected due to a lack of assets. The club was subsequently insolvent and liquidated. On February 4, 2024, after 117 years of existence, CFC Hertha 06 won its last competitive match against city rivals Sparta Lichtenberg 2:1 at its home ground Hans-Rosenthal-Sportanlage. In mid-February 2024, the BFV announced that CFC Hertha 06 was no longer a member of the soccer association following its dissolution. As a result, the NOFV also excluded Hertha's first team from the Oberliga Nordost shortly afterwards.
As early as March 2024, former officials founded a successor club under the name Charlottenburger FC Berlin, which was initially to focus on youth soccer. The aim was to rid itself of the legacy of CFC Hertha 06, which is why new club colors were chosen. The 2024/25 season saw the launch of a 1st men's team. The team started in the lowest division.
