Nottingham Forest Issues

I am a big Nottingham Forest fan but generally don't play as them.  For a very long time, Forest has suffered due to incredibly lazy researching by SI's research staff.  Obviously Forest are having a great season but the issue is more that the CAs of Forest players is making the AI loan list basically our star players and not play them at the expense of other players.  The CA hierarchy as multiple positions is just plain wrong.

It is criminal that Murillo has a CA of 125 for example and gets loaned out, Elliot Anderson similar.  Each time I download an update I am having to upgrade and downgrade CAs according for the AI to be able to act realistically in relation to the Forest squad.

Personally, I think it's something you guys should look into for your updates.

Our loan signings Alex Morena and James Ward-Prowse need lowering as well, as they are considered our best players in the game from a CA standpoint, when should be around 10-15th.

Thanks for the this soapylux you're right it's definitely not perfect, although it's very difficult to not get carried away by temporary form, you did finish 17th last season after all.

In our update Forest have roughly the 11th best CA ratings in the league which I think is pretty far and possibly even too high.

Murilo and Anderson I do think you've got too high there, they're still young with limited premier league minutes.

But for now what you can do is create an FMF and upload it that will let people download your choices so people have the opportunity to use the increased CA/PA.

Long term i'd love to try and make a system where people can contribute their opinions then when downloading other people can pick and choose whose files to use and combine.

Murillo is our best player, has played basically every minute of the last two seasons, is in the Brazil squad, and will go for almost 100 million pounds in the next window or Summer and Anderson has been a revelation, almost our most important player.    My post is not about making Forest a better team, but to make it so that the AI picks realistic teams and doesn't loan list our best players.  These two guys are very good players and should never be put out for loan.  I know it'

This is what i get worried about tbh things been updated due to what i call flash form, like my god Murillo going for a 100 million pounds is madness i get you been a forest fan but we have to be realistic Murillo will be at Olympiacos or Vasco da gama next season if your owner ends up buying them imo.

We can not just re write all stats because forest have played 15 games and are 5th lets wait till the end of the season.

you miss my point,  LYA, i have said about half our players should be downgraded, including Sangare, Ward-Prowse, Moreno.

Murillo is just a prime example of where the Forest researcher was lazy, his CA, PA have not changed since he signed for Forest, he has since won our player of the year and been called up to the Brazil national team and is reportedly wanted by every big team in England and abroad.  His CA of 125 at the moment is that of a championship player and it is what is has been pre his arrival at the club last year and at each window since. 

I bring this all up because I am playing a save as Bristol City and Forest have Elanga, Andersson, Murillo and Williams listed for loan.  This indicates an issue, specifically in regards to Murillo and Anderson.  Im not about boosting Forest but more getting the AI behaving more appropriately for the update

I just do not agree but you are a forest fan and watch them every game so i do respect your opinion i am a Villa fan and moreno was fantastic last season for us a lot of fans were sad to see him go so to downgrade him is harsh downgrading players for poor form is harsh imo as form is temporary..

But on the flip side maybe people should upload a file for there club to reflect what us fans think and how they rate there players.

Moreno has been good for us and is a good player, but is rated in the game as our best player at the moment whch is wide of the mark in my opinion.

If Murillo was at Leeds in the current version of FM as dictated by the current update (created by the game makers), say you loaned him in, he would be Leeds' fifth ranked central defender.   This despite being a Premier League club's player of the year last year and having not regressed this year.  Clearly something is wrong if the AI is listing him for loan for lower clubs when Transfer Market has him rated as Forest's best player as well, the 17th most valuable Brazilian player in the world and the 27th most valuable centre back in the world.

A simple Google search will reveal all the transfer news about him.

Regarding Wood, the AI will never play him over Awoniyi which is an anomaly too.

Yeah, mostly same things happened.  I actually played a save as Leeds and Murillo, Neco and Elanga (128 in the game) were all available for loan.  I'm merely reporting that Forest is out of whack with some of the ratings.  

My changes have Murillo 148 starting at CB now rather than not in the match day squad

Anderson (140) starting ahead of Ward-Prowse downgrade from 150 to the mid 130s and Sangare similar downgrade from 149 to 134)

I boosted Wood so he starts but i think 138 is kind of fair.

Gibbs White got picked for England and got a bit of a boost too and Aina and Yates who are very regular starters.  Aina is class and Yates our Captain.

I probably should downgrade Hudson-Odoi a touch to be fair, he's a bit over-rated.

More about realism and at least trying to give the AI a more realistic platform to pick teams from.

upload the file mate i am sure a lot of Forest fans would love this as i said it would be great if everyone did something similar to there clubs and to explain the reason why like you have done.
