Hi! Is this file compatible with other files doing the same work? e.g.: real name fixes, etc
SlBerry
Yes it is compatible…just add it in your editor folder
And as a matter of fact i'll be releasing CA and PA ratings based on FC25
Stay tuned!!!
bartdude
Problem is, it means starting a new save and losing your career progress. I manually edit the inc file with Notepad, save and it's done.
SlBerry
I’ll be working on it mate and will be posting another update soon!!!
Script1ner
Is this file compatible with daveincid realism megapack?
SlBerry
Yes it is, just make sure there is no changes from the other files in the pack
So it won't affect it
Script1ner
even with the worldwide award fixes from daveincid?
SlBerry
Yeah
It basically fixes the Reputation of the awards
not the names
Script1ner
do you mean your file fixes reputation fixes for awards or daveincids? or do you mean yours just changes the names?
SlBerry
It changes the names that's all
SlBerry
It changes the names that's all

i cant seem to find the puskas award ?
SamzKads
Hi, can you show the awards names changes? I want to know the before and after. Thanks!
ANAK AGUNG ARKA RAMA JANITRA
How to do this? Do you mean by doing that then it can be done on ongoing saves?
bartdude
Yes, use notepad or better still download Notepad++. Then open the inc file and edit any team, cup or tournament names. Save and you're done. It will show in saved games.

Where is the inc file please ?
bartdude
Oh I see. Firstly you agree with another comment that I was wrong to highlight the NO REQUESTS directive, now you want my help ? The inc folder can be found at “Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2024\data\database\db\2430”. Open the 2430 folder and click on the inc folder, then open the relevant LNC file with notepad or notepad ++ and search for the name you wish to edit. Save any changes and you're done. Any changes made will show on saved games. For example, after a sponsor change, I recently altered the Vanarama Leagues to “Enterprise National League” in the “Competitions and other fixes” file, along with downloading the updated competition logo from one the latest logo packs, on this site.
w8ddle
OK thanks 😉
w8ddle
But you can only modify what’s in those files. For example, when it comes to competitions, it doesn’t include all of them
bartdude
Which competition do you want to modify ?
w8ddle
For example, in the stadium file there are only about twenty stadiums. I wanted to edit some stadiums in France, and it’s the same for competitions

If it helps, the LNC files are essentially containers for information. They're text files and you can add extra rows to them, thus extending the content.
They have a strict ‘structure’ to how the data needs to be formatted - for example, for a stadium entry you need to enter (as an example):
"STADIUM_NAME_CHANGE" 996 "Stadium de Toulouse" ""
The first part specifies the type of change, the number is the Unique ID of the item being changed and the text string is how it will display in game. Extending the file is as simple as adding a new row with a new entry.
The same concept can be applied for any LNC file. The bit you'd need to look up is the Unique ID, which you can do by enabling the relevant option in-game to display them and then just browsing/finding the item in-game.

Oh thank you, you’re the best for these very clear explanations. THANKS

Do you have this file for version 26.0 please
