A league database encompassing State League's NPL NSW, Football NSW League One, and Football NSW League Two, the second tier to the fourth tier of the Australian football/soccer pyramid. This database provides the official 2024 regulations provided by Football NSW, including the official 2024 clubs in all three leagues as well as the youth structure and teams. Squad registration follows the new rule introduced by Football Australia, set for 2026 in real life, but the chosen registration for the database (link: https://www.footballaustralia.com.au/news/new-player-roster-principles-be-introduced-npl-senior-mens-competitions).

This database introduces:

– Playable clubs in NPL NSW, FNSW League One and FNSW League Two

– Nurture talents in the Youth Leagues (U20s and U18s), including for A-League Academy clubs

– Fixes basic info (dob/height) of players in the A-League teams (this will come soon for NPL NSW clubs) + Auckland FC included

– Fixes players' current ability and potential to immerse users into scouting potential wonder kids and the Australian leagues

Manly United Update:

– Introduces the official 2024 Manly United Squad + Youth Players from 1st Grade matches

– Changes attributes and ability to reflect how the players play in real-life

– Fixed errors on grounds (credit to No Totti No Party for helping with this below)

– Changed prize money format to participation prize money (meaning all clubs get the same amount in a division)

– Included Game Setup and loosely-based Manly United tactic that they play in real life (corner tactics excluded)

– Some info about Manly United players are below:

  • Star players: Peter Kekeris and Harry McCarthy (Mentions: Levi Kaye and Kieren Paull)
  • Star prospects (Under-20 players): Saxon Hillyer and Stefano Rossello
  • Captain: Kieren Paull, Vice-Captain: Jesse Piriz
  • 2024 Season Finish: 9th, Highest League Finish: 2nd (2022)

Challenges you can attempt with the club:

  • Youth Academy only: Like some clubs in NPL, Manly United leans on its youth academy and frequently gives opportunities to its youngsters. The challenge involves only utilising the academy and youth players to make your club one of the best wonderkid hotspots in the country.

Australian Championship Update:

– A loosely-realistic rules and regulations of the Australian Championship via research

– The Australian Championship format; Group Stage (16 teams, 4 groups), Knockout Stage (8 teams).
– Competition will be during the preseason of all NPL federations (October–December) but for the save, it will be set from August–October.
– New NPL NSW format where the highest-ranking non-foundation club will be awarded a spot in the Australian Championship.

Note:

– Recommend ticking the “Add players to playable teams” as the player database is incomplete with the 2024 NPL NSW, League One, and League Two squads

– Recommend ticking off the “Do not add key staff” option as no staff will be added to the database

– Official league awards have not been created but will be added for future updates.

– Two created players with a high potential (170–200 PA) in the game were added and based on the people who created this database.

Thank you for this.

Do you plan on adding the other states or kits?

That would take a lot of time. I built this database in over three months and there are still things I want to finish before moving on to other things. I do plan on putting the official 2024 squads for NPL NSW and am in the process of doing that as well as a Unite Round where A-League clubs meet in Sydney for a certain round.

Amazing, I'm an NPL fan myself so happy to help out if you need.

Would you need Unite Round? I know it's based on the 2024 season but it doesn't look like it's going ahead anymore after the deal expired

Not sure if you edited the grounds or not but noticed that Hurstville Zagreb & Sydney Uni have Arlington listed as their grounds when it should be Penshurst Park & Sydney Uni

That's amazing to hear and your help is greatly appreciated. I think Unite Round is only for 2023–24 and 2024–25 but now that you mentioned that, I might not include it. As for Hurstville ZFC and Sydney Uni, I think I forgot to check the grounds for them but will quickly fix them. Please let me know if you find other errors as well.

Sure, a few more grounds

Sydney FC NPL - Valentine Sports Park > Rockdale

St George FC - Rockdale > Barton Park

Dunbar - Fraser Park > Rockdale (Technically accurate for 2024 but they moved to Rockdale this year)

I will change Sydney FC NPL (since I think Rockdale was always their ground anyway) for 2025 and onwards. I already had Barton Park for St George FC, they moved there in April 2024, you just need to advance the simulation and they should move there by then. Dunbar I will add soon as well. Thanks for that.

With NSW NPL now in Week 2, are you doing a data update to capture all the player changes?

This is only for 2024 but I can do a 2025 season for the future
