Introduction
My career in management begins by taking a short flight from Gatwick to cold Aberdeen to embark on making the club great again following in Sir Alex Ferguson’s footstep. I went to a game 7 or 8 years ago and I love the challenge they pose. Limited finances at the start, but potential with good facilities for the level already.
The Squad
There are players in the squad to build around and keep for potentially the long haul. Miovski, Duk, Barron and Clarkson (I know a couple of these have left currenty) are players I’d like to build around. Duncan, Mackenzie and eventually Bavidge when he comes back from his loan I’d like to give game time to allow them to develop.
Tactic
I tend to stick to a tactically idea throughout a save and I expect to do so again. However I’m going for 3 asymmetric systems to keep the opposition guessing. The Players fit the system well and I think it’s a good place to start.
Transfers
I am expected it to be quiet with the limited budget saving for potential deals in January and End of contract deals.
Target
3rd in the league would be a solid start and to get to one of the cup finals should be a realistic goal for us. In Europe, no expectations, just getting used to juggling the fixtures with the domestic competition. Looking forward to this!
