Is it possible to amend a league's European entrants at the start of a new game?

For reasons I've never been able to understand or explain, I've never liked taking over a club that has qualified for Europe right at the start of a new save.

However, the Club I want to manage very unhelpfully qualified for the Conference League by winning the Cup and I'd ideally like to give their European place to another team in their league if possible?

Is there a database/editor tweak I can invoke to make this happen?
