I downloaded some new graphics and editor data files for my Football Manager 2024. Thing is, when I tried opening the game it gave me a bunch of errors and it shut down itself. After multiple reinstalls and multiple tries using and removing files I jumped to the conclusion that I can't use skins anymore, any skin I use makes the game not work, I can't add more editor data files because the same happens (even files that used to work fine before), and I can't add those graphics that I previously mention because the same thing happens. Also, I had adboards which used to work, but now, the same problem happens. Basically the problems are those xml parsing errors and sometimes it says something about locomotion. What I don't get is why the skins and ads that I have been perfectly using stopped working. I get that those new graphics may be a problem and won't work but I don't know why would the things that used to work, would stop working. So if anyone has any possible solution please tell me, I genuinely don't get to understand the problem.

I had this happen to me. Essentially, one of your addons became corrupted and it's taking down the whole damn game.
This seems to be a common enough to warrant inclusion on the SI service site.
I recommend doing a Google search on it. Essentially, I had to move everything OUT of the SI folders that I had added in, effectively uninstalling them from the game.
Then I uninstalled FM24, reinstalled fresh and slowly began to introduce some elements (skin, name fix, badges, kitbasher, etc.)
No issues since. I thought my FM playing days were over, but it just ended up being a blip.

I found it’s an issue with editor data files
my solution was to start a new game without the editor data files (I moved to desktop) the move the editor data files back into documents/fm24 once the game is running

Hi, I basically ended up doing the same thing as you did, and for what I saw it's about some editor data files, i'm not so sure about certain logos as well because i got tired of it and i don't want to try with them lol. But thankfully I could recover the whole games as it was before adding those damn files. By the way I didn't find exact answers to my problem on any other forum that's why I ended up commenting here :')

Hi, do you have to do that every single time you want to play? Or it's just for the first time and then you can leave those files without having to move them out then back inside?
