- Promotion and relegation between Eerste and Tweede Divisie starts in 2030
- Note: until 2030, promotion from Tweede Divisie only happens for a B Team in specific circumstances (it must win the league and replace another B team from Keuken Kampioen Divisie which must finish in the bottom 2 spots). Other teams cannot promote.
- Note: a B Team can relegate from Tweede Divisie into the Reserve Eredivisie if it finishes in the last 2 spots of the league. It is replaced by another B team. Additionally up to 3 regular teams can be relegated (and promoted from Derde Divisie)
- until 2030, in the unlikely event that 2 or more B teams are force relegated from Keuken Kampion Divisie, then it can happen that also the champion of tweede divisie (not a B team) promotes
- (*) Keuken Kampioen Divisie was changed for proper relegation of B Team which can happen in specific circumstances (see above)
- (**) Dutch Cup extended to start at first preliminary round where Tweede/Derde Divisie starts
- All other competitions unchanged
I did my best to use realistic formats for all the leagues that are included. The rule files contain:
- real divisions and cups with real formats from 2023
- teams from the 2023 season
- all nations have transfer windows, registration periods, tv dates, match rules, prize money - when I was able to find this in my online research

Installation Guide
Copy the .fmf files for the nations you want into the folder "<My Documents>\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data\".
The folder can be different if you have changed it in the FM24 preferences. The leagues should then appear the next time you start a new game in FM24 and chose advanced setup.
Make sure you have the checkbox "add players to playable teams" checked. This is recommended, otherwise you may end up with a lot of greyed-out players.

Testing and Research
All rules files have been tested in the editor and in the game as well.

Hello, I understand what you mean, but I make the rules as realistic as possible and for Netherlands, this means no promotion between tier 2 and 3.
I don't have time to create variations - I already maintain 220+ countries, it's too much.
But if you want, you can use my file as a base, and make the modifications yourself to add promotion/relegation.

Hi, unfortunately I'm not sure if promoting the B (Jong) team from the Tweede Divisie to the Keuken Kampioen Divisie is possible. My B team won the league in 2026/2027, and Jong PSV finished bottom 2, but nothing has changed in the leagues the following season.
