Problem with AFC Champions League qualifiers

Hello,
I want to launch my first game of FM24 and I would like to play in Japan at first.
It seems that after a few years, the qualifications for the AFC Champions League are no longer done correctly.
The competition is played well but, for example, the Japanese champion doesn't necessarily take part because it's no longer in the league rules.
Is this a known problem? Is there a fix?

The same goes for the Korean championship or even a Saudi championship I downloaded.
