Can I Use Data Update with Real World Mode?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but it's my first time using the data update. Can I use the data update with real world mode? So for example, since the data update has all the latest info re: transfers, would all of that be accurate if I started a new game with Real World mode as opposed to FM Original? And will those “real transfers” go up until the latest date of the data update?

No it can't work with real world mode. We haven't really spent the time to do this because there's been no demand for it.
