Expanding leagues?!

I'm trying to expand the danish 3F Superliga and the subsequent leagues to 16 teams instead of the current 12. However, when doing this I always encounter the same error message:

 

error in nation rules. Number of teams in superliga (12) doesn't match up with number of teams in the real fixtures (10)

 

How do I fix this issue? I would really like to create an expanded danish league system and I've googled it to no end without finding a good answer.
