The logo pack is not working as expected. After correctly installing it, I can see the changes reflected - meaning the clubs that wouldn't have the correct logo in FM24 now have the correct one. However, all other logos are removed. I have examined the config.xml file and see there is mapping only for Mac. Shouldn't there be one for Windows as well? It's strange because I never had this issue with any of the previous FMs while  using sourtitoutsi content. Also, all the other implementations (DB, kits, name fix) work just fine. Any solution?

Yes, busca el “FM Graphics Configurator” y crea un nuevo config.xml y listo, problema solucionado.

I can resolve it also by mapping the correct path in the xml file. It's easy. But it's not about how I solve it which I can. It's about reporting the issue so the maintainers can solve it. After all, it's their responsibility. Not mine.

“The logo pack is not working as expected…”

There are a few logo packs… which one is it?

“…the config.xml file and see there is mapping only for Mac. Shouldn't there be one for Windows as well?”

Never heard that there are Windows and Mac versions of config.xml… things just always work (Windows, in my case).

An xml file is just a plain text file, and any OS is capable of reading the content inside. For instance, you can open it with an editor program, so don't see a point to have different versions for Mac and Windows… Why inviting troubles for both the developers/creators and users?

OK, I had a look at the config.xml file you attached… Which part do you conclude that the content is “mapping only for Mac”?

For example, the first entry "<record from="13172353" to="graphics/pictures/club/13172353/logo"/>" seems… normal, as far as I know.

This line is from the logo pack I use (working in Windows): "<record from="1000" to="graphics/pictures/club/1000/logo"/>"… I don't find any difference.

By the way, if the above entry is regarded as a Mac version, then what does a Windows entry look like? Any examples?

"I can resolve it also by mapping the correct path in the xml file…"

Can't test anything, since no information about which logo pack is… but since you mentioned you've resolved the issue, so may you share what you've fixed and how?

Or, do you mean the line “<!-- logo mappings - generated with FM XML for Mac –->”?

It simply means that the entries below (or this file) are generated by the program “fmXML”, which is running on a Mac computer. Nothing about this config.xml file is exclusive for Mac or Windows…

Let's think about it together:

If the file isn't going to work in another OS, then Mac or Windows version becomes very important information. It should be highlighted or announced at the top of the file, instead of being hidden in the middle. Don't you think?

Besides, if there are different versions for OS, then you should see related information (e.g. This is for Mac or Windows) in the description of the logo pack, as well as instructions about which version to download.

Also, it's very likely that you're going to see tons of enquiries (or complaints) in the forum about things not working… since many people actually don't bother to read, and would just end up using the wrong version.

Not here to challenge you anything, just there's not enough information to figure out what exactly the issue is… and just trying to understand what happened in your case.

Anyway, suppose you're running Windows, you may simply use fmXML or FM Graphics Configurator (both have Windows version), and generate a brand new config.xml file for the logo pack. Then, you'll have a “Windows version” of config.xml instantly… (Remember to back up the current config.xml file first!)
