FM24 League Updates

With this, will the player ages, contracts etc. be a further one year ahead? For example a player with an agreed contract to join at the start of 25/26 IRL would have moved across, or will they still be at the original club for the first season in game?

Hello, where can i see which leagues updated?

At the point of the annual update (and please don't quote me on this, but I think it is being planned for the start of June, i.e. a few days away), I believe everything will be reconciled a further year in terms of player ages, contracts and so on.

The core concept is that the game world, at the start of a new game, reflects real-life in terms of who is at which club and where that club compete. So when a player moves clubs in real-life, that player will appear at their new club at the start of the game.

Even though real-life transfers are being confirmed by clubs already and they technically won't move (contractually) until the start of July, SortItOutSI are bringing that ‘pivot point’ forward by a month because we know everyone will be eager to start with updated squads sooner.

When would the UK promotions and relegations be incorporated in the data update?

noticed that the Latvian league hasn't been updated and its a couple months in already. Valmiera FC plays in the third tier due to inability to acquire a license for the top two tiers. Grobiņa should be in Virslīga instead.

Is there an eta yet on when england will be updated? Looking forward to it.

Hello can u tell me when will we have updated leagues for 2025/26 season? There are many promotions and relegations that happened

@Luke Rogers it was already updated, what issue are you having?

@Aleksa Zdravković as you can see in this list there are 64 countries all finishing within a few weeks of each other. You can guess from this that it will take at least a month maybe longer to do all 64. You can see a list of all files here 

I dont see Serbian league here unless I missed it, can you tell me if its planned to be updated in the future?

Yes we will update every league you don't need to ask about individual leagues, that list is not perfect and from an old comment, we have a more up to date we are working through 

Quite new to this, will Champions, Europa and Conference leagues be updated when possible? Thanks.

Says in the nations list in this thread that it isn't done yet, and the english teams haven't been moved up/down to correct leagues yet.

Looking forward to when it's done.

@Luke Rogers  Do you mean on the browse section the teams haven't been moved yet? that won't happen straight away.

Sorry it's all a bit confusing, in order to build the online browse system I have to do a massive export from the game which includes alot of cleaning up the data that doesn't export nicely, so I do it very rarely, I won't do it until all the leagues are done rather than having to do it multiple times but rest assured the downloadable update has the correct teams moved up/down.

In Belgium,Beerschot is still in the 1st division,but they relegated to 2nd.  And in Holland are almere,willem II and rkc still in 1st division and they also relegated to 2nd.  It says in the update that relegation and promotion was in it for holland and belgium.

@Rimmshot1973 please check the date and time (which should be localised to your time).

The Belgium file says 05 Jun 2025 11:03:41

And the data update page says Built At: 04 Jun 2025 21:34:45

Therefore the Belgium file was updated after the last build so you need to wait till later tonight/tomorrow for a new build.

This guy @Arcana22 sent me an update with the updated european qualifiers.

I wasn’t yet just because it’s a file that has so many ways to go wrong I didn’t want it to interfere with working through the leagues but if this works that’s great!

Had a quick look. “Klubi Futbollistik Skënderbeu Korçë II” are registered for Champions League. A second team it seems?

Klubi i Futbollit Egnatia Rrogozhinë was the team which have been registered, I must have clicked also on the random amateur side also , im not sure they will even appear in the game

Anyway at least it close enough , im sure theres a few bits ive missed as it was a bit of a slog. So if it at least saves whoever was in charge of this some time then thats a win for me

No worries mate 🙂 Didn't have time to look thorougly, but looked good otherwise from what I saw. It's not easy choosing teams when the first season has the old UEFA format with fewer teams. Appreciate the work 🙂
