There was nothing already in my folder. It was empty. I extracted the zip and thats where all the files were. The zip file from the site included both turkeys and a few others. I’ll delete the one with brackets though. Thanks.

@LiamBeck123  Hmm can you tell me what the files are named in your “editor data” folder?

Hi Team,

Just recently bought the new update for the first time, loving it for my Prem save.

Was looking to do a Rangers in Scotland save but there isn't an update for the new owners yet?  Would that be getting updated by any chance?

New owners haven't been added to Rangers yet if someone could do it be grand.

Also downloaded the data update, and promotions/relegations etc hasn't worked and I use the CLASSIC FM which I paid for, any ideas?

@Deek_101 can you give more information other than “hasn't worked”? We'd like to help you but it's impossible with such a vague report.

I've just tested with a completely clean install and it is 100% working.

Hi mate, I downloaded the latest file and it's clean install for myself as well as just redownloaded it to make sure. No promotion or relegations(except English) have changed and neither have the European placings in any league I can see. Updates like transfers and ability etc all have worked. I don't have any files conflicting with them to prevent them as I only have these files in the editor data folder

Same issue here.

Not every promotion and relegation has been done yet. If you read the other comments we've made clear that there are 64 countries that all finished at the same time, it's impossible to do all 64 in a couple of days, please can you be patient.

as you can see in this list there are 64 countries all finishing within a few weeks of each other. You can guess from this that it will take at least a month maybe longer to do all 64. You can see a list of all files here.

Hi Footygamer, i think what is been ask here is that in the list its shows for ex that the portuguese league is done but is not in the files that people download.

@eliojrfernandespt  It says that Portugal was done “05 Aug 2024” so obviously this was last year. You can check the date to see a file was last updated to see if it was in the last week.

I realise it's a bit confusing at the moment usually we only have to update for 1 year but with FM25 being cancelled we have to make alot of changes to the website our processes.

My bad, didn't see that detail.

Not sure how you submit a data change for a nationality update but Malik Mothersille (Peterborough) made his debut for Jamaica yesterday.

Licensing Issues

Downloading the new Classic Data Update you lose all licensing (for me anyways) 

Edit Note: I have downloaded all of the licensing & Name Fixes hence how Manchester United has their licensing all working (image provided below)

The Licensing you lose is:
- Full Brazilian Teams & Competition Names
- Brazilian Kits
- Inter and AC Milan names 
- Premier League name license back to default
- Many Eastern European league & cup names (using Bulgaria as an example)

Hopefully a fix comes out soon for it

Yeah i just lack braincells honestly, since ive been adding the licensing update files into the steam db section instead of the epic db section, complete human error. But works completely fine now so nothing to add really

The DB for EU places completely kicks City and Arsenal out of the UCL. Is there a way to fix it?

@Footygamer  How come both Man City and Arsenal are not in the UCL?

@Footygamer  Now I have downloaded the update from today and neither Arsenal nor Man City are still in the UCL. Wouldn't it be a good idea to remove the file that is causing this?

You updated Italy, but Sampdoria is still in the 2nd division, why is that?

Just updated my FM to start a career, and while there is a lot of transfers that is updated i was surprised to find Rayan Ait-Nouri still on Wolves, but even more surprised to find Strand Larsen at Celta vigo with no record of ever playing for Wolves. 
I cannot start in 24/25 and have to start in 23/24 is it something im missing? do i need another dlc?

If you visit the extra files page or the Italy page it clearly says 

➡️ Serie A and Serie B divisions only. Serie B > C waiting for play offs and group decisions.

You can also just visit sofascore or equivalent and see that there are still matches to be played

Ryan Alt Nouri was transferred yesterday on the same day he was announced by Man City, we can't be any quicker than “the same day”.

You generally have to wait 12-24 hours till the next day for it to be updated, it clearly states on the download page when the data update file was last built.

You have to start in the 23/24 season, it is not possible to start in the 24/25 or 25/26 season.

Larsen not having a history of being at Wolves is because we haven't added histories yet for the 24/25 season yet, only 23/24. The current seasons are still finishing, you can no doubt imagine how long it takes to add Appearances, Goals, Assists etc for 600,000 players. Please be realistic in how quickly we can do these things.

Quick question if anyone could help.

In the daily update would takeovers eventually be added? Looking to do a rangers save with the new takeover but whenever I try to combine this update with my own editor data its doesn't mix.

Takeovers have to be done manually and unfortunately everyone is super busy with more pressing things like promotions/relegations and ability updates right now 

Is there a problem with Chivu he is not inter manager in the new update.

edit problem solved i had a conflicting file.
