How to create or modify a Club World Cup with 48 Clubs?

I am new to this, I would like to add more teams to the Club World Cup, to 48 teams like the National Team World Cup. I would only like to create the tournament to be played for a single season, I am not looking for it to be part of a long career database with one team, it is just to enjoy a good time at a special World Cup.

I would add teams like Liverpool, Barcelona, Napoli, Ajax, Olimpia, Velez Sarsfield, Nacional, Costa Rica team, Angola and Algeria team, Tahiti team.

Which rules should I use? continental clubs or international?
