End of First Season
We started the season very well but after a while we experienced a decline in form. We finished the league in 5th place in the play-offs with the loss of points by Metz in the last week. We beat Rodoz 1-0 in the play-off quarter-final match. We beat Troyes 2-0 in the semi-finals. We beat Le Havre 4-2 in the first match in the final. Even though we lost 1-0 away, we got promoted to Ligue 1.
In the 7th round of the French Cup, we easily beat Amiens 4-1. In the 8th round, we tied 3-3 with Wasquehal. We advanced on penalties. In the 9th round, we were paired with strong opponent Reims. We tied 1-1. We advanced on penalties. In the 10th round, we easily beat Rouen 4-2. In the 11th round, we tied 0-0 with Pau FC. We advanced on penalties. We were paired with Monaco in the quarter finals. Unfortunately, we said goodbye to the tournament 3-2. According to the quality of the team, I think we showed a good performance.
