@Chris93 and @bakizp I believe that we should wait and see what happens here. The way I read the announcement on facebook, the last logo is only on shirt. So to begin with I think we should offer this as a alternativ logo.
They messed up with the new logo, hated by all the fans, and decided to use the city's logo for the 25/26 season, while waiting to come up with a good badge appreciated by all. This is their statement on Facebook:
"After the reflections of these last few days, we have taken an important decision.
In what will be the 110th anniversary season since the foundation of our club, we will follow a path already chosen on the occasion of both the 90th and 100th anniversaries, namely to play an entire championship with the symbol of the city of Livorno on our chest.
It will be an honour for us to do so.
The season of our return to the professional ranks will therefore be embellished with the symbol of all the people of Livorno, right next to the Italian Serie D champions' shield won in Teramo a few weeks ago.
We are particularly grateful for the enthusiasm and support of mayor Luca Salvetti.
This novelty will only be adopted for the 2025/26 season, a “limited edition” season in which everyone will do their utmost to honour this jersey that is so precious.
