With the Club World Cup approaching, it's time to show you the latest patch in the megapack, and a truly special one at that.
The format is exactly the same as the new Club World Cup, except for two substantial changes.
- It's annual.
- The qualification process is different.
Who qualifies for this World Cup?
- The 6 continental champions and runners-up
- The winners of the second-tier international cups
- Winners of the Central American Cup and the Caribbean Cup
- League champions of Argentina, Brazil, England, Spain, France, Germany, and Italy
- Host
And the remaining spots?
- 2 spots go to the two best South American champions by reputation, excluding Argentina and Brazil.
- 3 spots go to the best European champions by reputation, not counting those with direct spots.
If a team wins its league that has a direct quota and also obtains a quota for an international cup, this quota does NOT go to the runner-up of said league, but a waiting list is created among the Asian and African league champions by reputation until the quotas are filled.
The prize money was increased to €3 million for group wins and €1.1 million for draws.
The round of 16 awards €4 million, and €6 million for quarterfinals and semifinals.
Winning the final gives you 28 million euros, and just playing it gives you 10,000,000
