After hundreds of hours playing FM19 Touch and FM20 Touch on my PC – multiple saves of 30 seasons with lower league teams in Scotland, England, and Spain – I finally opened up FM23, and I find the full version of the game is overwhelming!

For example, in Touch, I hired a general manager, an assistant coach, a director of youth development, a chief scout, and a physio. That was the the entire staff needed. The full game has so many more positions to hire and manage. Player management is more complicated. Tactics are more complicated. Everything is more complicated!

 

I also find the interface on FM23 not very user friendly. It does not seem intuitive, especially considering the dozens of more decisions to make and results to track.

 

Needless to say, this first FM23 save is not going well!

I totally agree with you, it's definitely not the best thing, I much prefer the earlier ones
