Unión Esportiva Ibèrica — Building a New Legacy in Spanish Football

In the quiet coastal town of Blanes, nestled in Catalonia’s northeastern edge, a football revolution is quietly underway. Founded in 2025, Unión Esportiva Ibèrica is more than just another lower-league club — it is the heartbeat of a community and a bold footballing vision brought to life by its founder, Icie Icy.

🌍 The Vision: A Club for Spain, by Spain

Born in New Delhi, India, and later moving to Barcelona to study, Icie Icy settled in Blanes, where he built a successful career as a data analyst. But beyond spreadsheets and statistics, he held a deep love for football. After eight years of hard work and saving, he launched his dream project: a fan-owned club focused solely on developing Spanish-born talent.

UE Ibèrica is committed to one thing — nurturing homegrown players. No international transfers. No shortcuts. Just raw Spanish talent, forged through grassroots football and polished with modern analytics and elite coaching.

🏟️ Facilities That Match the Ambition

Stadium: Estadi Unión Esportiva Ibèrica — a vibrant 18,500-seater with potential for further expansion.

Training Ground: Ciutat Esportiva Ibèrica — built with state-of-the-art recovery and tactical analysis facilities.

Youth Academy: La Fàbrica Ibèrica — the jewel of the project, known for its commitment to youth progression and character development.

From the start, the club's mission has been rooted in sustainability, identity, and excellence — not just buying success, but building it.

🎯 The Ultimate Goal

The ambition is as clear as it is colossal:
To one day stand shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, not only in La Liga, but also among Europe’s elite in the Champions League.

With a loyal, passionate, and respectful supporter base, Unión Esportiva Ibèrica is a long-term journey — a footballing odyssey that you, the manager, are invited to lead.

Absolutely exceptional work on your part, I thank you very much for that. I took the liberty of taking your database, merging it with a database where the Spanish tenth division is playable, and using it as inspiration for the creation of a Catalan club on the French border. I kept the same transfer restrictions, but I created a new club, a new logo, jerseys, new infrastructure, a female staff (founder, youth training manager and assistant coach), I created a B club that I integrated into a very low league. The main club is therefore intended to compete with the Catalan giant that is FC Barcelona, I am starting my new adventure in Lliga Elit Cataluna (the Spanish sixth division). Thank you again for the database which greatly allowed me to create mine much more quickly, if you are interested, I can put it up for download. Havea good game !

Hi,
Yes, I merged with the FMSite database, and it works perfectly. I tried with the Catalonia database, but it doesn't work.
In any case, I recreated everything from your database for the transfer restriction, and it works perfectly. It's really great to be able to start so low and work my way up through the divisions. I'll finish designing the one with the Catalonia database, to restrict recruitment only to players with Catalan nationality or dual nationality, in the same way that it's imposed in Bilbao, but I need to work a lot on it; no divisions will be affected when I merge with this database.
Thanks again for your work. Don't hesitate to use the save file or the database you created for fun if you need it. You've given me too good an idea to wait for FM26.
