Hi all,
Now that the English PL transfer window has closed I think I'm going to start one last FM24 save before FM26 is released. I know Sortitoutsi's data updates are updated pretty regularly, but is there any reason I should wait any longer before downloading the Latest FM Data Update and the most recent Name fix?
I don't typically do much editing on the game (yes, I know I probably should, and am looking forward to finally seeing real team and competition names as opposed to names like Man UFC and Real San Sebastian), so i'd like this to be the final data update and save before FM26 drops.

Honestly, if you've held out until the transfer window closes then that is probably ‘the milestone’ to wait for. Of course, things will keep changing - in particular, non-playing staff can change - but playing personnel are now going to be fairly static.
We are still working on updating some of the league structures with promotions/relegations and things like the newly-created players continue to be added to on a regular basis - but there is always going to be something new added there, so no matter when you start, the next day something is going to be different. I'd say - just go for it! If you're ready to play, you're ready to play.
