Hi, I thought I recognised your name from somewhere, it was back when I made Scorpio skin, I remember you were interested in this sort of thing back then.

Yes, I started doing some light things to customize the skins by changing the papers and small things that can change the image of the skin superficially. It's still my hobby, but I never had time to deepen my knowledge of the skins' code, just design. Before, I did some really crazy, out-of-the-ordinary things, lol. I was still starting out. Maybe if I had deepened my knowledge of how the code works in FM, I would have done funnier things. It's been ten years without touching the code, just changing the textures. It's only been a week after ten years, lol, that I've been focusing on how the FM code works to learn how it works. I do things as I visualize them, but editing code from scratch would require at least understanding how it works. I don't even need to be a pro at creating, just understanding how it works. I try to understand by messing with things 😀 they are an open note mess, we don't know what's what, there's no description or translator lin some lol, long time my friend , good still here 🙂 after twenty editions of FM
For example, they use

and just "Paper"
Why don't they use
Paper_home XML »» /Paper_home.png
Paper_club XML »» /Paper_club.png
Paper_train XML »» /Paper_train.png
Paper_player XML »» /Paper_player.png
…….
It would be easier to name the XML files and papers 😀 with the descriptions of the titles of each line of code , I'm trying to simplify

and for me I practically don't need the FM color codes just papers because I work with textures although the colors make the game lighter... I just need files that give me that and then for the whole game it's "Bg Black" almost , no painting just texturing design

“but” for me, red is a colour, that warns me for something 🙂 so for me, red is not a warm colour for relaxing… 🙂

I've already fixed the title bar; it works for both side bars.
Editing new title bar, buttons, and borders.
As they say, the simpler the better.

Hi Friend, Skin looks good, but I don't know where to put the (REDLINE 25 _FRESH_-2.fmf) file. I have tried putting it in the (SKINS Alien FM) folder, but it doesn't work
. Any help on where to put it? Cheers.
