Just the one out in the window and none in. Yurkin, whilst has some strong attributes for a defensive mid fielder was about 3rd or 4th in the pecking order. £10m was a pretty good fee for a guy who barely played, it also allowed me to register Barakos who has been dominating the premier league but was unable to play in the Champions league.

Needed away goals but happy to have progressed against such strong opposition. Some upsets in the other games too, Leverkusen knocked out Arsenal and Betis knocked out Man Utd.

First time I have won anything in sooooo long. Only reason I came to Man City was to get my rep back up and win some shit. I was worried for a while as Chelsea hadn't lost a game until about their 33rd fixture or so, they had every opportunity to win the title but fixture congestion done them. They were competing on every front and eventually ended up having to play a game every 2 days. Chelsea's 2 losses to Arsenal at the end of the season helped me to the title with a game to spare and saved me the drama of having to play Chelsea in match day 38 for it.

Forgot to put up the champs league results. Betis despite knocking out Man Utd were really a non threatening team despite the closeness of the scorelines. I did have to make some rotational changes as fixture congestion was getting to me. Marseille proved a much sterner challenge and upset us at home, they also took us to extra time in the second leg before Mitrovic the veteran striker sent us on our way to the final in the 110th minute.

Unfortunately Barakos will miss the final after amassing too many yellow cards.

So yeah beat Leverkusen, 1-0 or something along those lines. Next season I spunked huge amounts of money on players, the chairman just kept giving me money.

I bought in a young goalkeeper from Liverpool who was a product of my youth academy which helped with registration plus he's fucking awesome. Cost me £60 odd million. Bought in Rodrigo Angel Vera who those might remember from my last stint at Liverpool is an absolute beast in the midfield, he only cost me £30 odd million as he was transfer listed. I bought some French dude from Barca to play the advanced playmaker role, a dual sided fullback from Barca in January as I didn't have enough defenders, some young German striker and then a shit load of youngsters.

I won the Super cup, Community shield, F.A Cup and finished second in the league by a point because I couldn't beat fucking Sheff Wed ffs. I also lost the 3rd round of the Carling cup to Liverpool with a youth team and the Champs league semi final against Real Madrid. Bastards got their revenge from last season. I won the Club World Cup against some random Paraguayan team.

I resigned on June 1st and have holidayed until after the world cup to see where I feel like managing. TBH I would love another project like Montpellier as I was enjoying that and only ever went to Man City to win shit again.

Funny you should say that. After the world cup finished I had a look at the available jobs and of the 30 or so there only Werder Bremen peaked my interest. I am now in Germany for the first time lol.

Little background on Werder, they were relegated in 2033/34, they finished 3rd in the Bundesliga 2 in 37 but didn't come up and once again 3rd in 38 and are now back in the top flight.

I have a transfer budget of just under £1m and a wage budget of £274k of which I'm spending £270k.

Need to evaluate the squad and try to move some players on to free up the wages, may even look to bring some of the youngsters from Man City I signed in on loan.

So I've gone through the teams put 8 first teamers up for sale, they are either old and past it or just not good enough to begin with. Hopefully I get some sales through in time for the season start.

I've got some real quality in the under 18's, we do have top training and good youth facilities though.

I've bought in a head of youth development to suss out some talent and also hired another scout along with 2 coaches.

Now to see what I can snare from the free and loan market.

Cannot wait till this kid joins in January. Real quality already, had him on the radar at Man City but they wanted £11 odd million for him. Snagged him for free now though had to break the wage budget to sign him and prevent other teams from getting in under my nose.

So got some players out, brought the wage budget another 13k down and turning a profit. We also sold an extra 2000 season tickets from last year so that will help immensely.

The board want me to avoid relegation and I'm pretty confident I can do that if my midfield stays injury free.

So the half way stage and things are looking okay. We are scoring quite a few goals but leaking many at the same time. The old score one more than the opposition is the approach I am taking here due to the quality or attacking players available to me.

Cup wise we are into the third round of the DFB Pokal after 4-0 and 2-1 wins over second tier teams. We meet Wolfsburg in the 3rd round who we have played in the league already and had a 0-0 with. As you can see from the table they are only a point better then us in the league.

Highlight of the season so far is a 1-0 over Bayern which came after 3 losses on the trot against Gladbach, Leverkusen and Shalke who are all top teams.

I will wait till the end of the season to post up the special players but there is a 15 year old in the under 18's who I cannot wait til he is ready to play, will be something special I can feel it.

http://i40.tinypic.com/av3892.jpg

That is him.

http://i42.tinypic.com/iz3n1z.jpg

This kid will also be huge for us and already starts at right back for me.

Finance wise we are leaking close to a million a month but I've just cancelled one of the loans and got 4k per week off the budget. With Leggett still to come though and at a hefty wage it will be a while until we turn a profit.

This comes as a surprise but we have been playing very well of late and had the run of the draw with Leverkusen and Wolfsburg being the only D1 sides although Wolfsburg are pretty average. Dortmund should be too strong but stranger things have happened and I've pulled off miracles before.

Leggett is a genius, if he's not scoring them he's setting them up. He's playing a 7.33 in the league, 10 apps, 3 goals and 4 assists. 2 cup games with the one goal at a rating of 7.55. Hopefully I can hold onto him for a looooong time and make him a legend of the club.

Absolutely outstanding finish to the season, the board just wanted to avoid relegation so to finish up towards the top is incredible. Though the obvious overachieve could make future seasons difficult. I have some real young quality in this side but at the other end some aging stars, my problem is I have no real middle players, the ones that can come in and do the job in a injury or suspension situation. We did earn £16 odd million for our league position though so hopefully I can bring in some quality backup.

http://i39.tinypic.com/24uxq4g.jpg

This has to go down as one of the greatest results in this career to date, so over the moon with this. We restricted Dortmund to zero shots on target from the 6 they had. Every player in my starting side played over a 7 to show how much of a team unit we really are. Also was a stroke of genius starting Dipper. I had been using Shulz for ages in that left midfielder role and his form wasn't quite up there I kept contemplating dropping him to the bench for Dipper and finally did in the biggest game of the season and he didn't disappoint.

Amazing season, onwards and upwards.

Thanks mate, I've loaded up so pretty interesting leagues now so after Germany could see some interesting movements.
Anyways.....

http://i42.tinypic.com/14sgsxk.jpg

All free transfers aside from the one loan costing me 35k a month and 50 percent of his wages but he is quality.

Rodrigues is an AMC who has 16 and over in technique, composure, decisions, determination, work rate and stamina along with 15 off the ball and bravery, at only 19 years old could develop into something special. Now atm I'm not playing an AMC so will retrain him to MC although there really isn't a difference between the roles.

http://i43.tinypic.com/2zoerd5.jpg

Very happy with this free transfer, will def do a job for the next few years at least and has already impressed after being thrust into the starting line up.

Akbari is another solid midfielder, great first touch, technique and passing. Great physical attributes too all over 13.

Dos Santos is a 25 year old fullback who can play both sides, cover more than anything and most likely gone when his 2 year contract runs out.

Castellotti is a left back I got on loan from Inter last season in January and I bought him back purely for backup as I have let the contracts of 3 fullbacks run down and MacDonald is off on loan with the option Karlsruhe to buy.

Schneider is a young right midfielder to cover, awesome free kick ability, could win some games off the bench with that.

http://i39.tinypic.com/6h2wba.jpg

Great young player from Inter can't wait for him to get stuck in.

On the outs, Diomande was a left winger/striker but aside from dribbling he really has nothing. Great fee for a player who quite frankly isn't that good but still has youth on his side. Yildrim is another striker but with Leggett, Simic and the Malian Kouroumakan plus the other wingers who can backup in the striker role if needed, I decided to sell. Roels is a 26 year old defender with a few good physical attributes but nothing much else. MacDonald, 29 years old and fairly ordinary. The freebies were all youngsters with little to no talent except Hahn but he rejected my offer.

http://i43.tinypic.com/2i0c76s.jpg

So I lined up like this last season to great effect as you all have seen. Going to stick with it this season as I feel we have a much stronger squad overall. Starting lineup is not definitive but you can bet Leggett, SImic, Dipper, Widmayer, Santos and Salfeld are all guarenteed starters.

Had to post this, you should all remember Gil from my job at Montpellier. Great goalkeeper, in my three seasons I believe it was he started nearly every game for me and had ratings of over 7. Couldn't get a call up for Argentina, leaves Montpellier on a free, won't sign for me at Werder, Milan pick him up and he gets a France call up.

Bloody reputation.

Dnipro's highest position since I added the Ukrainian leagues was 4th and the highest league position since the start of the game has been 3rd once in 2031.

Besiktas won the league in 37 but finished last season in 6th.

Braga's highest since I loaded Portugal has been 3rd and haven't finished higher at all since the start of the game.

Personally I think this is the best group I could have got, I avoided some real "groups of death" here.

Group B has Bologna and PSV, very strong teams. Group D is probably one of the toughest with my old Montpellier team seeded 1st, Everton and then Fenerbache with Lokomotiv Moscow rounding it out. Group G would also be very tough, Shakhtar, Roma, Monaco and Gaziantepspor. Finally Group K has Liverpool, Rennes, Karpaty and Genoa.

So some good teams will obviously not make it which will help us.

Wow I'm shocked that the record is only now 18 goals and also shocked that it hasn't been broken since 2012.

Leggett is really impressing me he also had a lengthy spell on the sideline and has come back firing and hopefully we can sneak a champions league spot thanks to his goals.

Very very impressed this season. We started out like a house on fire, we easily accounted for Kropp in the DFB 1st round winning 4-0 before going on a run of 4 bundesliga wins in a row (conceding 0) and our first Europa league group game win over Braga 2-1. We then faced off against Gladbach this seasons champions and lost narrowly 1-0 before a huge win over Bayern 2-1.

From there it was sort of win one, draw one, lose one. I finished top of my Europa group winning 4 and drawing 2 and then getting put with Liverpool in the first knockout. Mainz knocked us out of the DFB winning 2-0 which was a bit of a shock but meh. After the break and 4 friendly wins we started off again with 2 bundesliga wins before we went on somewhat of a huge slump, coinciding with Leggetts long term injury which saw us 5 Bundesliga games without a win and getting flogged in the Europa league 5-2 agg against Liverpool.

Leggett comes back and we go 10 games unbeaten including 6 wins before succumbing to Leverkusen 4-0 in the final round. A win there would have seen us jump Bayern into 4th.

http://i41.tinypic.com/r1wz6x.jpg

My squad. A lot of these players will be going either due to age or just simply not good enough. I have two good looking players coming in on pre contracts so will post them up when they get here

£16m last season, £18m this season and I think TV money is something like £25m. Europa league money is pretty shit and when games get moved for TV in the Bundesliga it's only between £30-40k. Some months I turn a profit, some I don't but with a lot of the aging players going and being replaced with youngsters hopefully I can bring the wages under £300k per week and start turning a profit.
