🎉 FM Goal Musics is now released!
You can download and try it right now — bring real stadium vibes to your Football Manager 26 matches.

Why I Built This

As a passionate Football Manager player, I always felt something was missing during goal celebrations. That magical moment when your team scores should feel special, immersive, and exciting! But FM doesn't give you that automatic burst of joy. I wanted to recreate that stadium atmosphere feeling - you know, when the crowd erupts and the celebration music starts playing instantly.

So I built FM Goal Musics to bring that missing piece to my FM experience.

What It Does

FM Goal Musics is a companion app that sits quietly in the background while you play Football Manager. It watches your game, and the moment your team scores - BOOM! - it automatically plays your chosen celebration music. No clicking, no manual triggers, just instant celebration vibes.

You can:

  • Add your favorite celebration songs - Add as many as you want and switch between them
  • Choose which team to celebrate - Only play music when YOUR team scores (not the opponent!)
  • Set it up once and forget it - It just works in the background
  • Customize everything - Pick the perfect song, adjust how it detects goals, make it your own

It's super fast and responds almost instantly when a goal appears on screen. It feels like the game has built-in celebration music!

What's Coming Next

I have so many ideas to make this even better! Here's what I'm thinking about:

  • PreMatch Music- Some teams have unique pre-match music, why not add it to the app?
  • Cheering Fans Sound - Imagine the sound of the fans cheering when your team wins a match.
  • Bad Atmosphere Sound - Imagine you losing a match and the sound of the fans booing.
  • Chill Playlist - Rotate through multiple songs so it never gets boring when you're not in a match.
  • And More Atmosphere Sounds - Football chants, cheers, and other sounds that make the game feel more immersive.

And of course, I want to hear your thoughts, feedback, and ideas!

So that means, can I do add Liberatores anthem in FM 26?

Yes, you can. However, for now the app only includes major teams. If you want to add your own, go to C:/Program Files (x86)/FM Goal Music/Config and edit the team.json file. Add your team there, follow the setup shown in the video, and your chosen anthem will play automatically whenever your team scores.

Hello,

I'm having trouble launching the app on my  Mac (M2, macOS 26.0.1).

The application immediately crashes on launch and the Crash Report indicates a "Library missing" termination reason, specifically several system libraries needed by libleptonica.6.dylib (e.g., libarchive.13.dylib, libpng16.16.dylib, and libjpeg.8.dylib).

I have successfully installed all required missing libraries via Homebrew (/opt/homebrew/lib/):

brew install libarchive

brew install libpng

brew install jpeg

Despite these libraries being present, the application fails to locate them.

I also attempted to launch the app via the Terminal with explicitly set Dyld environment variables (e.g., export DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH="/opt/homebrew/lib:$DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH"), which is the standard workaround for this issue on Apple Silicon, but the app continues to crash.

Question: Was this application compiled natively for ARM64 (Apple Silicon), or is it an older version built for Intel that is running under Rosetta 2? It appears there may be a hardcoded issue with the Dyld linkages within the app's structure.

Thank you for any help or a potential update to resolve this issue!

I used your mod in the early versions, which still detected color changes when goals were scored. Can you tell me how you did it in this version? I'm trying to develop a scoreboard animation but haven't found the right files to customize the scoreboard.
