a glimmer of light, Alex Morak has developed a new skin for 26, removed the horrible pink n purple and has backgrounds
not seen it on here, but is on FMScout

just installed it. fairly easy to do, its basic in terms of a skins, but fantastic in that it gives lots of potential, but it does help the game a lot visually, even just with a background it feels so musch better, and obviously a better colour

I’ve downloaded this , but scared to delete files in the game folder so won’t use it yet.
You used to be able to just add it to the FM folder and then chose it within preferences in the game.
Has this changed with FM26?

Just copy all the files from the destination folder and put them in a new folder on your desktop. Youve always got a back up then. Ive used the skin all morning. Its great compared to the default garbage skin and no issues.

Just not comfortable with files and their structure I am afraid. I am an age where PC skills are pretty basic.

That's where my game is located. If you go to the equivalent of yours you can see the StandaloneWindows64.
All I've done is copy and pasted the entire StandaloneWindows64 folder to my desktop, so if it all goes wrong then the original files are all there ready to be put back to the original place.

A clarification to cut off inflated expectations: not a skin, but just a slightly changed color theme. Regarding skins, the expectations are: 0 skins with 95% probability, 5% probability that 1-2 skins with meager UI changes will appear closer to next autumn.
