FM26 Has Been Updated
FM26 was just updated on March 30th which will have broken many skins so you may have to wait for the author to update this file.
This is a generic message applied to all FM26 Skins, check the comments for more accurate information.
This is the first customized theme/skin for Football Manager 26. Say goodbye to the majority of the game’s purple and blue colors. I have also included a new background and new golden UI highlight colors.
Versions and Optional Files:
- MAC COMPUTERS: With the help of GlasgowAirport, who plays the game on a Mac computer, we achieved to make the files not crash the game when played on Macs. You only just have to select the files that's inside the folder "Mac Version". What we did was, that he send me the files of the game on a Mac computer (that are slightly different than a Windows computer) and I remade the skin using these files for all of you that are playing on a Mac.
- BACKGROUNDS: Unfortunately, due to the way this year’s game works, we can’t have different backgrounds per screen. However, the game does use different backgrounds for licensed competitions (Premier League, EFL competitions, Bundesliga, UEFA competitions, etc.), which appear before matches in those competitions. If you want to see only the main background I’ve chosen, or you prefer to keep dynamic backgrounds only for UEFA competitions, I’ve included some optional files you can use.
Disclaimer:
- At the moment, this year’s themes/skins are created differently from previous versions, and we cannot modify or interfere with the UI. Therefore, I cannot accept requests to change specific elements of it.
- Additionally, because the game is frequently updated and these updates often affect the files we use, there will be regular updates to this theme/skin. On top of that, we’re constantly experimenting to discover how to change and improve more aspects of the game’s visuals.
- If you already have my theme/skin and want to install a newer version, sometimes cached files can cause issues. Please first Verify Files from Steam by right-clicking the game → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files, restart Steam or even your computer and then install the new version of my theme/skin.

How to install the AlexMorak Theme/Skin:
- Download the file.
- Unzip the file.
- Locate the Game Directory: Navigate to your Football Manager installation directory.
The standard path for Windows is typically:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64\
And for Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 26/fm.app/Contents/Resources/Data/StreamingAssets/aa/StandaloneOSX
- Before first time locate the original files in the game's data folder and make a backup copy before proceeding. You should see from my files, which files you have to make a backup copy.
- Copy and paste the files into the game directory. When asked, choose to overwrite/replace the existing files.

I think that if you upload the file that needs in this tool, it will not reset the skin/theme.
But it would be nice if any admin can verify it. @Footygamer

If you do what the installation says it will be shown for unlincensed competitions. In the next update I'll add a second file to keep only this background.

When i follow the path i couldnt find that files. In the fm 26 folder there isnt a fm data folder

Of cource there is an fm data folder in the installation of the game. This is were the files of the game are. Probably you are a bit confused and you moved to the documents folder. It's ok, just read again the installation method carefully. (for Windows or Mac, it's different)

Hi, could you please tell me which balls pack you are using? I put one in the graphics folder, but when I enter the game my character disappears. It's not related to your skin; the problem also occurs with the original game. Thanks.

I found it, it’s a little bit difficult but I made it. But now the next problem. When I do it like you mentioned and I will start the game I can’t start the game. The buttons to load the game are blank, and nothing happens when I press them. When I click on "Start new game," I am taken to the next page, but then I have the same problem and cannot select anything there.

The ball pack that is uploaded here for FM24. It has a bug that the manager's figure don't show and you cannot edit it but otherwise works like a charm. When I want to edit or create a new manager, I close the game, remove the config from the pack, open the game and do what I have to do, close it again and put back the config. Hopefully the creator of this pack is creating something different for FM26.

I can't troubleshoot with this, as I don't have this issue, neither anyone that I've speaked with from my community. If you are playing in Mac, probably the version for this has some structural problems, a lot of people report problems and bugs when they are installing mods (themes are mods as well). Let's hope that Steam's today update fixes some things.

Hello everyone. I've fixed whatever needed and updated the theme/skin to v0.3.1 so the theme/skin works again with the game after yesterday's update. Enjoy.
I think that using it without the game's update don't work. Please do the update via Steam's Beta Track and then apply this version. If anyone downloaded version 0.3.1 and installed it, please re-download and install it again.
