FM26 Match Engine Has Been Updated
FM26 Match Engine was just updated on February 11th which will have broken many tactics.
This is a generic message applied to all FM26 tactics check for tests with an ME Version 26.2 or greater.
What you'll see here is rapid, quick pass and go and many through balls which lead to plenty of goals.
1 thing to notice is that you'll rarely get more than 50% possession due to constantly trying that through ball.
I took Wrexham from league 1 to premier league in constant promotions and now sit top of premier league 4 seasons in.
I also tried the tactic on a previous Man Utd save I had and got same results.
Won the league with Man Utd 3 seasons running and each time was by more than 12 points.
Current Wrexham save I'm 12 games in, 11 wins with 1 loss but sit top with huge goal difference.
I then holidayed a full season on a fresh Liverpool save as that seem's to be everyones test team.
the images show how powerful this tactic is. goals after goals in every game.
I will attach the tactic and some screen shots and hopefully you guys can give it a spin and let me know how you get on.

Been doing lots of tests with lots of teams, and its working really well, also posted on other forums and others have said it's brilliant.
only advice i can give, is keep an eye on fitness of players as they tend to tire in the 2nd half of the season due to high workload.
also any signings you make, you want good vision and passing as 90% of your goals will be through balls and splitting their defence.

Struggling to get goals from strikers with any tactic so I guess I can try strikerless! Wirtz's numbers are really impressive, you played him at central AM? Would a re-trained fast striker work as AM/primary goalscorer?

Yes alot of strikers work well playing as SS, as long as their retrained into that position. Obviously it may take a few weeks to see the best out of them, but once they change into the SS, they thrive. pace is so important for that role though, so i always pick pace over finishing. As for the AM which was Wirtz, they'll score goals regardless as their normally the ones which the through ball goes into for the usual 1v1s

No, simply download the tactic, plug and play. only advice i give is that you keep an eye on players fitness as it's a fast paced tactic and older players tend to tire quicker.

im testing this tactic, and so far really is the best! im trying the defensive tactic to be a bit more pressing to try to have more % of the ball, because i always have 30-35% possesion and i dont like it 😀

Yes low possesion is normal in this tactic as each player aims to push risky through balls and don't hold onto the ball for long.

Started a new save with Forest, holidayed for 1 full season, instructed DOF to take control of transfers, and also assistant to control everything else.
and yes, Forest WON the league!!!

SpVgg Fürth and yes they are correct. i need to say. it has been in the season 26/27 in the 1st devision… so i think the result is good.

Thanks, I'm liking this tactic seems like strikerless beats strikers atm good job! See you have more versions out now which one is the best in your opinion, the original one with W going to DM out of possession or the one with SS going to DM?

I only have 1 version, the others are people who used my tactic as a template and then made small changes.

I think on FM arena you shared a version with SS/DM instead of W/DM? With Nott Forest and Gibbs-White as SS IP and DM OOP
