The Material Skin is ready for you again this year!
It's based on the colors of the skin created for previous editions of the game, with the addition of a couple of custom backgrounds. For now, this version is based on the game still in beta, so there may be structural issues unrelated to the skin.

To use the default attribute colors go to preferences -> details -> audio and video and choose preset 3 on "player attributes"

Download the file.
- Unzip the file.
- Locate the Game Directory: Navigate to your Football Manager installation directory.
The standard path for Windows is typically:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64\
- And for Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 26/fm.app/Contents/Resources/Data/StreamingAssets/aa/StandaloneOSX - Locate the original files (SEE ABOVE) in the game's data folder and make a backup copy before proceeding.
- Copy and paste the files into the game directory. When asked, choose to overwrite/replace the existing files.

Okay, fine! I really don't understand why SI doesn't include attribute changes like they did until now (for example in FM24). Yesterday they talked about total user customization of attributes, but I think they misunderstood the meaning of "customization," they only gave 4 pre-defined presets... amateurish at best.

hi man, thanks for the skin. just a general question here. trying to sort out all my facepacks and stuff before i hop into my first save but realised theres no folder being set up in the sports interactive folder in documents like fm24 did. is this just me and it is an issue or is this a thing they have implemented for fm26?

Hi, i don't think it's a skin problem..i think is a bug of the game.
If it was the skin you should have the problem on all messages.. are the other messages visible?

Thank you - this is definitely an improvement. The game isn't as bad as it has been reviewed, but it has been made visually very unpleasant.

It is a common bug with all the skins..try to not add the default_asset and match_asset and see what happens

For MAC - a work around to at least get the general background showing and the green skin colors only add these two bundles from the Material skin download:

I haven't had a crash or issue with the skin since doing this.

Yeah maybe the problem is the defaultasset but not for all mac users is true..someone can use default_assets without problem, others that file make crashing the game..i don't know if depends on the various distro of Os…you can also try to add the others file one by one and open the game everytime you change one of it to see if it works

Not sure if it's just me but I noticed this in fixtures screen. Somtimes it's normal, sometimes it's not.

Big fan of the “skin” being using it since fm23ish.
Anyway, not really an issue, but how do I get the 2d tactics screen on.
Mines is currently the attached file.
