What is the Pre-Game Editor?
The Pre-Game Editor (PGE) is a free tool for Football Manager 26 that lets you change almost any part of the game’s database before starting a new save. It is available on PC and Mac through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.
You can edit clubs, players, competitions, nations, stadiums, and many other parts of the game world. The editor allows you to adjust finances, player attributes, club details, kits, and even rewrite competition rules. You can also create brand-new clubs or leagues and shape the football world to your liking.
Steam
- Open Steam. You must have Football Manager 26 in your library.
- Go to the Library tab. In the drop-down menu where it says “Games”, select Tools or just search “Football Manager 26 Pre-Game Editor”.
- Find Football Manager 2026 Editor Pre-Game Editor in the list of tools.
- Right-click on it and choose Install or just click Install on the Right.
- Once installed, you can launch it from the same menu.
Epic Games Store
- Open the Epic Games Launcher.
- Go to your Library.
- Sort and filter your games. Make sure to untick any filters on the right-hand side so that all tools and games are visible. Find the Editor. Scroll down to the letter F in your library and look for Football Manager 2026 Pre-Game Editor.
- Install the Editor. Click on it to open a pop-up window asking you to confirm the install location.
- Confirm and install.
- Once installed, you can launch it by double-clicking its icon in your Epic Games Library.
Microsoft Store
- Open the Microsoft Store.
- Search for the Editor. On the search bar type “Football Manager 26 Pre-Game Editor”
- Click the Get button to start downloading and installing the Editor.
- Once installed, you can find the Editor in your Library within the Microsoft Store, or directly through the Start Menu under your installed apps.

I cant find it on microsoft store I searched Football Manager 26 Pre-Game Editor But there is nothing at this store.

As best I can tell - and this would line up with Google search results and posts on other forums: it simply hasn't been released on the Microsoft Store. I am hoping it'll appear any-day-now, but I am just speculating.
