and simatchNERFGEGENPRESS.fmf with the Gegenpress nerf (also rename).
Replace the originals in the Data folder and try.

Hi, just came across this
Could you give more details on what you've altered in the ME(I'm on FM23)
theUMBRO
If we’re talking about the regular match engine, then I simply replaced the values in physical_constraints with the values from the mod for fm24. I didn’t really delve into it, but to me it started to look more like football. In the version with the gegenpress nerf, I reduced pressing attempts, completed pressing attempts by about 20-30%, tackling attempts by 25%, interceptions by 30%, passes by 15% and sprints and distance by about 15%. As a result, it turned out that the players in the teams that play under pressure get tired faster, around the 65-70th minute, there are more substitutions, the scores are no longer 6:2 and the like. The teams play on equal terms, there is no such thing that a team shoots 50 times on goal and the other 3 and wins 3:0. (only with very weak teams where the players are “gray”) Meta tactics work but not like in the original. There was excitement in the match. In general, the game is more open, teams attack more and, most importantly, defensive tactics work. In general, it’s better to try to install and play 10-15 matches and understand. I did this for myself, and in principle I am satisfied.

Yeah, that gegenpress is OP in FM23
Will try it out for my next season to provide a good contrast

Then write your impressions, otherwise there's no feedback from those who downloaded it. Maybe something needs to be adjusted.

@theUMBRO in fm23 for test those files where must be located?
theUMBRO
Download the file, rename it to simatch.fmf, and place it in the "data" folder where you have the game installed. For example, on Windows: Program Files -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Football Manager 2023 -> data. On Mac: Application Support -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Football Manager 2023 -> data. Before you begin, rename the original file or copy it to a separate folder. Then launch the game and test it.
