For anyone who struggles with @OKV 's amazing Poweshell scripts you can get the same results from using a couple of free programs, but it does involve a bit more manual work as you will need to do it folder by folder, and it is more hazardous as you can easily mess things up completely.
The first is called Bulk Rename Utility which you can get from https://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/
With this you can edit the file names of everything in a folder in one go, for example add a suffix of _face to everything in the faces folder.
You will need something like Notepad++ to edit the config.xml files in each of the folders. You can use search and replace on the right bit of text to update all the file names in the XML. For example replace " to= with _face" to=
CARE - both Bulk Rename Utility and Notepad++ are powerful and you can easily mess things up completely (which means you will need to throw away your packs and re-download them). If you are not familiar with using these, I recommend you get familiar with them before using them to do this. Use at your own risk and responsibility.

ive had some issues with logos from the competition rankings where some of the competitions dont show the logo and i had the right id's and edited the config files correctly. I have two attachments for examples. can anyone help me on this issue? Thanks big time!

The script for config.xml does not work, it gives an error. It works for logos, but not for config.

After Reading though a lot of posts ive finaly managed to get most of my graphics to load. (Balls, Clubs Logos, Competition Logos, Confederations Logos, Faces, Kits and Nations Logos )( Can't seem to get Flags to work)
For me i used prefix rather than suffix as this didnt work. I used bulk rename utillity tool the was mentioned by Fidney.
