FM26 Match Engine Has Been Updated
FM26 Match Engine was just updated on February 11th which will have broken many tactics.
This is a generic message applied to all FM26 tactics check for tests with an ME Version 26.2 or greater.
After many DM's asking for a V2, I finally decided to run more tests and created the V2.
Few adjustments to tactic / player roles / team instructions and player instructions, I give to you.... Fast Paced Counter V2
My original tactic which is still working very well (Fast Paced Counter), I believed I could improve even more, So after many tests and tweaks, I won the league and champs league with no signings or edits.
Started a fresh save, and went straight on holiday for a full season.
Something i noticed was the 3 loses in the league all had key players missing due to injury so i do believe with correct training and control, you can dominate your league with ease.
Same as my Original tactic, you need certain players in certain roles.
Front 3 - acceleration and finishing
Inside wingers - good vision and pace
Deep lying playmaker - vision and passing

Just finished a fresh save managing Genoa and yes you guessed it….
Won the league first season.

so you know that the current tactics without a striker and a flat midfield is just bugged because the opponent team defend will not defend in an rightous form.. they just hold the last defense line and your midfield can easly just strike in without being defended or pressed/tackled in any form..

I didn't create this tactic with that in mind, I had no idea about the bugs in formations. I created V1 in the first 2 days of the games release, and then V2 come a few days after. i tweaked it and tweaked it again until it worked with most clubs. not sure how or why, but it just works. and watching the goals on matchday are always important in my tactics, I like fast paced through balls with high XG ans lots of 1v1s.

I have just finished my 1. season with NAC Breda in Holland. I switched to your tactic around november or so. And I just fineshed 4 th. 🙂 Very nice, and now I hope that with better players, I will do even better in next season.
