Database size differs to friends

Hi all, ive just downloaded the FM24 Database update (the one that cost £10)

when creating a new game my database size on large is much lower when selecting large, my friends is 170k+ players with only the 5 main european leagues and Brazil and Argentina leagues. I selected the same leagues and only hit 57k. 

i created a game and the players have updated, i.e Wirtz @ Liverpool 

 

I followed the tutorial but when ive looked at the files on ‘MyComputer’

My attributes file is 6576KB, however my friends 13424KB, is this the issue ?

Please rest assured, the experience you are having is the correct one. Your friend, in fact, is playing with a bugged version of the Data Update; which was recently fixed.

Just to confirm: what you have downloaded today is accurate and functioning correctly. No need for you to do anything. You should advise your friend to re-download before they start a new game.
