This file will add player histories FM24.
All previous histories have been decreased one year so it says the wrong year that they joined, but it shows the correct stats and order of teams.
For anyone noticing missing entries, it will be because we don't have a link between their transfer market profile and their football manager profile you can check any missing entries and fill them in here: https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/profiles/
It won't magically update once you've added the link though, I will have to rebuild it.
Warning: This will make starting a new game take longer, but once you start playing it won't make any difference.

do you just include the file in the editor data folder? i cant seem to find “Player History” in the file choices.

Just put it in your editor data folder, start a new game and it works like a treat.

How much longer? I play with most players possible and its not creating a game, even after an hour. Then when I untick the mod, it takes 15 minutes.

For those having challenges with the Player History file - just a couple of things to note:
1. This file is actually part of the main Data Update download. You'll find it in a sub-folder, by default, named ‘Optional’. If you move that file into the main ‘editor data’ folder (i.e. take it out of the sub-folder) and enable it in-game, it'll work.
2. The fundamental thing to note is that it will significantly slow down the process of setting up a new game. Specifically, it will take a lot longer on the ‘Loading game database’ step. What you will find is that the progress bar sits very near the start on this step for a long time, before eventually completing. Please be assured that on completion, the game itself runs as it normally would and loading saved games doesn't take any longer.
To put it into perspective - the file contains over 3,000,000 database changes. This takes a while to process. Exact times will vary by computer specification. But the amount of time it will stay on that initial ‘Loading game database’ step (with minimal progress on the progress bar) will be very noticeable. It is a one-time wait time and the positive trade-off is being able to have the updated player history entries. As a simple example, for me, it takes approximately 25 minutes to go past the ‘Loading game database’ step, with the remainder of the setup taking a further 6-7 minutes. That's on an AMD Ryzen 9 12-core processor with 32Gb RAM. How it stacks up on other systems, I have no idea.

So I loaded every league and it took 1h 8m. With similar stack to yours. Id say it takes roughly a minute longer per league!

Statistic is updated only for Leagues and not for Continental Cups? Also, are there any chance, that alternative version will be uploaded, where statistic will be correct regarding dates? So people, who start save on 2025 could see normal statistic for 2024/25?

I've tried using this with the Start In 2025 thing, it really took a lot of time to set up a new game. But the histories weren't there 😢

Unfortunately, it didn’t work with the 2025 start date at least. Does anyone have any idea how to get that file working?

Thanks for all your hard work. FM 26 is a disaster – it’s unplayable. Thanks to you, I can still play FM 24 with the update. My question is: I want to start a new game in May 2026; everything’s fine – the results and so on are correct – but there are no realistic results for European and domestic cup competitions. Is there anything that can be done?
