You may have already noticed it, but our FM24 Data Update just got a huge upgrade.
Previously it would update every 24 hours with the actual download available at sporadic times, this was because humans had to manually create the final version of the file in the editor.
Well that's not true anymore! Now the updates are automatic and happen every 20 minutes. Yep that's right, if you submit a change on our site you can be playing with the updated data in just 20 minutes.
When Graham Potter was sacked on Saturday the BBC announced it at 10:42am, it was submitted to our Update at 11:01am and the file was ready to download and play at 11:20am.
That also means our Dynamic Player Attributes have got a huge upgrade as well. Previously we would build these once a month and then give you 10 files that you could manually swap between to make each save unique.
But now with the “live” updating, the attributes are dynamic with every download. Download at 11am and then again at 11:20am? You'll get ever so slightly different player attributes for a completely unique save every time.
Not sure what we're talking about? Do you know how FIFA/EA Sports has live form meaning you don't have to wait a whole year for breakout players like Cole Palmer, or late bloomers like Chris Wood, to have improved stats? Well that's how our new “Live” Data Update works too.
More than that, it offers greater variation in which players will be Wonderkids and hit their potential each save as well so you can't just rely on having played god knows how many seasons already.

What happened to the changes file?
This has been renamed “Contracts”
What happened to the dynamic data files?
There's now just one file called “Player Attributes”. Every 20 minutes a new version is built with unique changes compared to the previous version.
Are the dynamic attributes totally random?
No they still closely reflect real life, Luis Guilherme is still going to be a good player but sometimes he'll become World Class and other times he won't live up to the hype. Unlike in traditional saves where it feels like the same wonderkids break out every time.
Is the paid version only for FM24?
No you get updates for one year for all versions whether it's FM24 or FM26, so no need to delay donating.
What about FM23 and other older games?

Cant access FM26 enhanced date update even though paid membership. Can anyone help please? 😢

Would there be any reason why the player attribute file is causing a huge number of players to be added into the save, without adding very many leagues? With no leagues loaded, it already shows over 150,000 players, and when you add a normal number of leagues, it jumps up close to 300,000 players.

Looking at your product order history, I see that you have an active Premium Membership - which gives access to faster downloads - but not an active Enhanced Update subscription. It appears to have expired on 23rd October 2025, which would explain why you don’t currently have access.

Looking at your account, you have only ever purchased Premium Membership which does not include the Enhanced Data Update - nor has it ever in the past.
I would not expect you to have had access to the FM24 enhanced update, either, TBH. I have only quickly scanned your download history but the versions of the FM24 update i saw were all instances of the free one.
