Mod pack to replace all “Football Manager 26” game ad boards with generic ad boards to increase immersion.
To install:
- Download the file - "generic-adboards_26.0.5.zip"
- Extract the contents of the .zip file. You should have the following file:
- stadium-ads_assets_all.bundle
- Locate the Game Directory: Navigate to your Football Manager installation directory:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64 - Move the extracted files into the 'StandaloneWindows64' directory.

Thanks, is it possible to replace some of the stock adverts / companies with our own? If so, what size image does it need to be? Apologies if explained on video, I am on a train and bo decent WiFi bandwidth.

It is explained briefly in the video, but short answer is yes! As for image size - it just needs to match the size (dimensions) of the image you are changing.
I'd recommend watching the video so that you can find out how to do this; all useful links are in the description on Youtube.

It's possible to re-use adboards from past fm's? or files are different, and can you get league specific adboards?

As previous ad boards were not together in a .bundle file (needed for Unity!) those mods will not work. However, the images themselves should be usable if they are the same dimensions as those in the current game. This will require loading of the texture using UABEA, however.

thanks, this really peaked my interest! have you tried adding adboards to the existing ones (or club specific to clubs that aren't licensed) yet or know if it's possible, rather than replace them? I've played around with it for a couple of hours but all I got was for all ad boards to turn completely white 😀

I haven't tried it so far, but no reason it shouldn't work! I would happily get rid of the bc.game sponsor board for LCFC but haven't got around to it. Keep having a play around, coming out with a tutorial on how to mod today.
Note: make sure you keep image dimensions and resolutions the same 🙂

Not at the moment, I'm not the best at modding and definitely not the best with video editing! As the files are .mp4, this might be tricky. If I have some time I might give it a try.

was just wondering if your tried adding additonal ad boards as well
tried that via assetripper / unity editor but couldn't get it to work and was wondering if I was overlooking something and whether you might have been looking into this yourself already

Not at the moment, seems difficult as we cannot export .mp4 files from the .bundle files.

I have managed to export the video files from the bundle file using AssetStudioGUI. I dont know if this was a thing but this could mean that custom video adboards may be possible, but i dont know if we could manage to add additional adboards instead of replacing the video ones. I dont have much experience in modding but i would like to help!!

Will this patch need to be downloaded again post the two patches by SI today and Friday? Does it affect the file, or will an updated version have to be created?

Not currently no. Adboards do not work the same as past FM games.
