Submissions paused due to the release of FM26

Please try and write multiple sentences or bullet points explaining exactly what steps you've taken and what's not working.

Saying “I don't actually use the pack” doesn't make sense when you're reporting an issue with the pack???

I explained that I had requested several photos be cropped from the website, but when I tried to integrate them into the game, they didn't appear. I manually entered the player IDs, which correspond to the players in the game, and it's still the Newgen photo that appears.

I'm sorry but that's still to vague when you say “I manually entered the player IDs” that could mean any number of things it's impossible for me to say “this is what you've done wrong” unless I understand what you've done.

• Where did you enter the player ID's?
• Is your config.xml definitely correct?
• Can you share your config.xml?
• Have you tried downloading the complete facepack + the custom config.xml I made for you?

I am trying to help fix your problem but you have to understand that i'm not sitting next to you seeing what you've done so you have to describe it or provide screenshots or videos or something.

Otherwise i'm afraid i'm just going to have to give up trying to help you and hope you figure it out yourself.

When I say I change it manually, I mean I rename the photo using the player ID they have in the game and then reload the configuration. But I'll test your method. I use the same method as on FM24.

Again i'm not sure what “reload the configuration” means. Do you mean you edit the config.xml in a text editor?

With fmxl application

It already shows me the same login details as you, but the photos don't display.

They are displayed but they do not correspond to the players

Does fmxml prefix each ID with r- ? I don't think it does therefore it won't work. In FM26 recreated players need to have their ID's prefixed with “r-”

This is why I said it's important to explain what you're doing so people helping you can point out where you're going wrong.

I would really appreciate it if you could be considerate of mine and other mods time and put in the minimal the effort to describe your problems in detail. If you're asking people to help you the absolute minium you could do is make it as easy as possible for them to help you. You made 12 separate comments without mentioning that you're trying to use “fmxml” despite repeated requests to be explicit in describing your situation.

For that reason i'm going to stop helping you now and wish you best of luck figuring this out yourself.

Without going through fmxl, the photos appear, and now I'm trying by downgrading to the Steam public beta.

They're mixing up IDs and photos. Mylan Toy isn't her photo, and Vibert doesn't have a photo.

So I did as you said downloaded the photo pack + the config folder you sent me, but the photos don't match the players and I can't attach a screenshot of my new PC and I can't find the button. Sorry

I'm coming in ‘fresh’ to this issue, but happy to try and help troubleshoot.

As a starting point, can you confirm whether any of the newly-added players, in your game, are displaying corresponding photos (from the facepack) correctly? Or is the situation that all newly-created players are showing those game-generated images?

I am trying to establish whether there is an issue with specific players (e.g. the two that have been mentioned by yourself and the previous user), or something that is impacting the display of photos for all newly-created players.

Hellö, mates! Now it is not possible to submit changes for FM24 right? If not, when is it gonna be available again? Thanks..

@Emphasis It should be that you only have to make one submission. If you think there's something you can't do at the moment please give specific examples and i'll look into what might be needed.

@Footygamer For example it shows in the submission screen that Spaletti is in Juventus but in the game he isn't, how can we fix that? 

HHello I just downloaded the photo pack for newly created players, and there are two players whose photos aren't showing up: Toty and Vibert. Their IDs match the game and photo IDs. I've attached the pack's configuration and a screenshot. I want to start a new game with Saint-Étienne. Is it because I'm using the Steam beta version that it's corrupting the file? PLEASE HELP ME

Hello, I'm playing FM 24 and I have some questions about the data update:

there is a way to include in FM 24 Update new players that are added in the official FM 26 database? for example: #2000502196 Xavi Putxi

If I make a new youth player request it will be added only on FM 26 update or it will be added in FM 24 update too?

There are some new youth players that were added on FM 24 update with the submission system that not appear if I browse the data 26 update cause they weren't included in the official  FM 26 database for example Luis Silva is on FM 24 update team Lleida 67148466

Backwards integration into FM24 of players in FM26 is being looked at in the background, and if possible, will happen. But at the moment, you can't create a player that is already in FM26 for the FM24 update. Once we can provide more information on if/when we can include FM26 players in our FM24 update we will. 

For Luis Silva of Lleida, I can't find him - can you share a link to his FM24 update profile? Was he at Lleida when added to the FM24 update?

I don't know how to find a link to his FM 24 profile, In my save file the id of Luis Silva is 2002051013, this player was not in the official FM 24 data base and it's not in the official FM 26 data base, was included requested by an user of this forum for FM 24 with the submission system, I thought that players requested in FM 24 will appear as new created players in FM 26 update too, probably I'm wrong and this players has to be requested again for FM 26.

I downloaded today's version of the Data update 24 and it's included too with the same ID

It looks like someone accidentally linked that Luis Silva from Lleida with this one.

I've removed that link now so he will be in future FM26 updates.

Thanks @Footygamer , he is in FM26 already with UID 2000398857, but on a free transfer. I can't seem to get his profile to return anything via our update as it gives an error page but that might be because of the link being removed? It was the correct link, just that SI had him as a free transfer and missed his actual move to Lleida. 

I was going to transfer him to Lleida then delete the submitted profile, but with the error message below showing, I can't get in to edit his actual FM26 profile.

@sergi_ads for now, he is in the update for FM26. If we can get to his actual FM26 profile, we will transfer him over and then delete the created version to avoid duplicates.

Down to 497 players from the FM24 update needing checked against the FM26 database, so nearly there with these issues.

Sorry I didn't check that properly, you're right the free agent is the same player, i've fixed that now with a normal submission and removed the created person from FM26.

Thanks, for some reason, I can't see him anywhere on the Lleida page if searching the latest update, and his correct ID is pointing to the created player rather than the DB player if searching for him directly with his UID. I know that link includes the .test, not sure if that matters?

Down at 375 checks to go, should get them done by the close of day today.
