As you can see highly rated, young and great attributes. He will take over from Schwartz who has left us after his loan spell.
I really only have one right winger I am comfortable playing right now so this guy is perfect to come off the bench and maybe even sneak a starting spot if he plays well. Both were freebies

The US and Canada seem to be churning out some real gems. Had this guy scouted for nearly a season and Real Salt Lake let his contract go ?!?!?! WTF. Anyways good backup in both the defender and midfield spots.
I've also got my eye on another Canadian striker to join Leggett, his name is Miles Leggett, they both were at Montreal Impact at the same time but aren't in each others favored personnel, still seems like they are related. Have to see how much he will cost me though.

Got my man, cost me £3.3m but the Leggett boys are back together.

Brought in for cover but looks like he could be very useful, see how he gets on this season.
Got him back for his second loan spell, Inter wanted £1.8m for him so stuck with loan. Played well in his last stint here, 30 games at 7.46 is impressive in any side.

So half way stage and we are exactly where we were predicted. It's been a real struggle especially at the beginning of the season at one point we were languishing in the relegation play off spot. We have picked up some form though with 4 Bundesliga wins in 6 games and 1 draw.
Europa league wise it has been pleasing in the group. I was initially worried having drawn such a tough group and at one point three teams were on 6 points and I needed a win in the last group game to guarantee qualification.
We started out very strongly beating Litex 4-1 and Lille 1-0 at home before meeting Siena who surprised me throughout the campaign and beat us 2-1 before the return leg at home was a 1-1. This left us in a precarious position but having to play Litex next at home, a win would almost guarantee qualification, we went behind 1-0 before a stroke of genius in the 64th minute moving Roberto Leggett from left winger to striker and he bagged a hattrick.
The last game against Lille was a dangerous one, being on 10 points with Lille on 9 at the time if we had lost our fate would have been in the hands of Litex. We knocked Lille off 2-1 and took Litex out of the equation and luckily because Siena got the draw which would have knocked us out had we lost.
I've had interest from numerous jobs and been offered Tottenham, Lille and most recently the Dortmund jobs all of which have been rejected.

Forgot how many good players that I love managing are in this career including Miles Leggett.
Anyways first game back and BANG

So I won the Europa league beating Man Utd 3-2 in extra time. On the way I beat Austria Wien, Zenit, Standard and Milan. Did horrible in the DFB Pokal losing in the second round to Cottbus. The Bundesliga saw us finish 8th, from what I can recall my tactic with the two DM's wasn't working anymore and from looking at the table it's evident I wasn't creating enough scoring chances, we put only 34 in the back of the net that season. Defence was also worse then the previous season where I finished 5th. Alas my tactics this season have seen us with a chance to win the title but I will update that later.

Bundesliga we finished an amazing 2nd having a superior goal difference to Gladbach, both finishing on 70. I thought I was in with a shot of winning the title during an amazing end of season run but a draw to Gladbach and a loss to HSV ended our chances with Leverkusen finishing 4 points clear of us.
DFB Pokal once again knocked out in the second round, this time in extra time to Hoffenheim. After beating Dortmund my first time around it has become somewhat of a bogey cup for me.
Europa league and we retained our title. We topped our group with 5 wins and 1 draw before beating Sevilla 3-1 on agg. Then came the impressive result you see above against Atl. Madrid, the return leg we won 3-0. Man City was up next and with a 3-1 win at home I thought we were safe. Man City took an early 2 goal lead in the return leg and with time dwindling I switched to overload, I needed one goal to go through. Akbari fires home a 76th minute free kick to send us through to the semis. Roma proved as futile as Atl. Madrid, beating them 6-0 in the first leg and fighting out a 0-0 in the second leg. Up comes our second final in 2 years and against R.Sociedad, 7 FUCKING 0. Just wow, and Leggett had 2 goals disallowed lol. It's a shame I couldn't take that form into the league though, often scraping by with wins.
I've got a tough choice to make. While it has been fun coming back into this save I'm not sure I want to stay at Werder. I might start the next season and see how I feel.
Anyways off for some GTA
