Hello everyone,
Like many of you, year after year I faced the same question: "Which team should I start with this time in Football Manager?" Sometimes I spent more time deciding on a team than playing the first season.
All of this reminded me of a small tool I saw years ago and lost track of. So I decided to create my own improved version and share it with all of you.
What is the Random Team Selector?
It’s a super simple yet effective tool that helps you:
- Overcome indecision when choosing a team
- Add randomness to your saves
- Create interesting challenges with teams you would normally never choose
- Discover teams from leagues you might not know well
How does it work?
I have a database with quite a few teams from the world’s top leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and many more).
You mark with an “X” the teams you would like to include in the draw.
The tool picks one at random—and that’s it! You have your next challenge.
The best part: It has forced me to step outside my usual team choices.

It would great if you included better instructions for how to download this tool. Some folks, me included aren't familiar with Github. Finding whatever is supposed to be downloaded is pretty difficult there. And, offering and English version of all the information and the program would be great too.

I have uploaded a guide in English to the repository, called Readme_EN, so that the instructions are available in English as well as Spanish.
I have added instructions on how to download the project from GitHub to the guide.
