Fresh for FM 26 - the latest version of my Concacaf Expanded Universe (CONCACAF EU) files.

This is similar to my previous CONCACAF EU databases, where the US moves from a closed structure and stringent roster rules to one more similar to Europe. I also moved it to a winter schedule and used an opening/closing stage structure, and regional divisions (minus the top tier, which is one national division because of continental qualification rules.) In the United States this year I made eight levels, imagining a merger between MLS and USL.

I also activated a number of the other CONCACAF nations and build out the pyramids in Mexico and Canada to make it more immersive - I’ll have a more detailed post below on the specific leagues

If you’ve played the database before a lot of the US experience will be similar, excluding some new roster rules.  I spent more time this year reworking some structures to hopefully make the top three nations (Mexico, the US, and Canada) more competitive across continental comps. There are now foreign player limits in the US and in the CONCACAF competitions, with three free movement treaties set up to increase the talent pool for other nations. I also balanced the money a bit, so the top teams in the US, Canada, and Mexico have similar TV money budgets. Additionally, I spent some time this year building opening/closing structures for the nations that have them besides the US and adding promotion/relegation to Canada and Mexico.

It’s also a work in progress right now, because I’ve come across a few editor issues in the past few weeks, which limit what I can do at certain levels of the competition. I’ll put a few notes on that below if you’re interested - hopefully a future editor patch will let me add some other elements.

You can also find a logo pack for all the US competitions below.

The Steam collection will be updated here: Not Released Yet

Happy CONCACAFing y’all.

Known Bugs (That are outside my control at the moment.)

  • Continental Comps have some limits, including having to register U21 players for them to be a part of the squads. I can’t edit them in advanced mode because the editor doesn’t recognize the created US level 1 division.
  • I can’t have two cups within a division in the same year, so the opening/closing playoffs in a lot of the leagues with opening/closing stage structure don’t exist yet. If it gets fixed it will be an easy enough addition, and I’ll make those adjustments.
  • Some cups don’t show up in the search bar - mostly the continental ones. You will need to search for the North American Champions Cup and navigate from there.
  • Because I can’t edit the continental cup rules in advanced mode, I can’t set up the club world championship qualification, and that tournament is broken. If it gets fixed I’ll release an updated version so you can compete in that competition.

Hey, nice work with your file! I didn't quite get what you meant with this part above. I opened the save at it seems the playoffs show up in the rules section and all. You mean they're just there but don't play out at all? So why do they show up at all?

Another question I had is why the design choice of an opening and closing stage, when you could simply do a normal league setup and avoid all that trouble.

Thanks!

Hi Andre! Great question. The opening and closing playoffs weren't a part of my US set-up (as I planned it), but they are a core part of both Mexico and Costa Rica's structure (along with a few others.) So, for those countries, they won't have the structures they would be used to. Thhanks for asking!

Is it possible to just use one country? For example, just using the Mexico file?

Thanks for the answer! Is there any way you could send me a DM so we could chat? You answered one of my posts on the Editors Hideaway but I couldn't find a way to reach out to you!

I have noticed a few glitches:
8th Division US Clubs enter the USOC at the first round proper instead of the first qualifying round
Prize Money for the Overall Stages of the 7th and 6th Division are in the millions instead of the thousands

Yes! I realized this when I was playing through, but thought I would wait until the editor was less buggy before releasing an update. Alas, a lot of the stuff I was hoping would be fixed hasn't been yet, but I am going to push out some new files for FM 26.2.

Hey great work here! I do have an edit to make though even though I know its a small thing, but you have the wrong team from Wichita represented here. Sporting Wichita is a youth promotional club not an actual club that competes the way a normal club does. What you want is FC Wichita (Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FC_Wichita).

I went and edited it on my files but in case some other dude from South Central Kansas wants to lead our local club to glory but isn't good with editing FM files it would be dope if you could change this.

Either way thanks for this mod, was my favorite on FM24.

There is no MLS, but all of the teams are present, and there is a pro/rel structure.

Eu uso a propria liga dos campeoes como base , pois ela automaticamente ja envia os campeoes pro mundial de clubes ou você pode talhar o caminho indo em ações do destino em regras avancadas
