About the Project
This is not a transfer update. Unlike standard updates, 5EDT focuses on the core of the game: Attributes, Current Ability (CA), Potential Ability (PA), Player Positions, Player Reputations. It is a direct conversion that brings official FM26 Player Profiles into FM24. No random edits—just 100% original data ported from the latest game to yours.
Change Log / Features
• CA/PA & Attributes: CA, PA, and Attributes of over 40,000 players have been converted and updated from FM26 to FM24.
• Player Positions: Positions for more than 2,000 players have been converted and updated from FM26 to FM24.
• Player Reputations: Player Reputations over 6,000 players have been converted and updated from FM26 to FM24.
• Club Budgets, Reputations & Morale: Club balances, transfer budgets, reputations, and morale have been converted from FM26 to FM24. Nearly 40 leagues have been completed, including some lower divisions of the major leagues.
• Player Salaries (wages): Player Salaries (wages) for over 40 leagues have been updated from FM26 to FM24. I believe it can work with other wage update files without any errors.
Optional Content
• Wonderkids & Missing Players: More than 400 Wonderkids and missing players from FM26 have been recreated and are available as an optional add-on. (And Faces)
• Retired Players: Players who retired or should no longer be in the database according to 2026 data have been updated/removed.
What makes this update special?
Authentic Attribute & CA/PA Conversion:
I have updated over 40,000 players using official FM26 data. Every attribute (Finishing, Passing, Pace, etc.) and CA/PA (Current/Potential Ability) has been meticulously converted to match the official FM26 database exactly.
Important Note & Recommendations:
This file focuses exclusively on Attributes, CA/PA, and New Wonderkids. It is designed to be fully compatible with your favorite transfer update patch. For the ultimate FM24 experience, I highly recommend using this database alongside a Transfer Update, but this is entirely optional—the choice is yours!
⚠️ CRITICAL NOTE for Compatibility: ⚠️
Your game language must be set to English while creating a new career and selecting the files. If the language is not English during this setup phase, Player CA-PA, Attributes, etc. will not update. However, as soon as your save file is created, the language no longer matters; you can switch to any language you want and continue playing your save without any issues.
New Wonderkids are no longer included within the main files. They are now provided as a single, separate file.
How to Install:
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT:
Your game language MUST be set to English while creating a new career and selecting the editor files. If it’s not in English during setup, Player Attributes will NOT update. Once the save is created, you can switch back to any language you like; it will not affect your saved game.
Installation Guide
1.Download and Extract: Download the files and extract the contents.
2.You will find the main file (5edT_CA-PA_Attributes_EN) along with other optional files. You can install the 5edT_CA-PA_Attributes_EN file, plus any other .fmf files you wish to use.
3. Move the Files: Copy all selected .fmf files to the following folder: Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/editor data
4.Launch & Set Language: Open FM24 and ensure the game language is set to English.
5. Start a New Career: Select "New Career" and click on the Database menu in the top right corner.
6. Select Files: Ensure that 5edT_CA-PA_Attributes_EN and any other optional .fmf files you want to include are ticked/selected.
7. Final Step: After the career setup is complete and your game is saved, you can switch back to your preferred language (e.g., Turkish). You can load and play your save in any language from now on.

Please note: The loading time for the league selection screen and the new career creation process (while the database is being initialized) may vary and could be extended depending on the number of changes and your computer's performance.
When starting a new career and selecting the editor files, please make sure your game language is set to English!
-The 'Retired-Remove_ETC_Changes' update has been added. This is an optional update. If you want an update for the files you use in FM24 that removes retired players or those who are no longer in the game, you can use this. However, this update is optional, and if you are already using a similar update, I wouldn't recommend using this one. Changes have been made to more than 400 players.

Footballer positions update; The positions of more than 2,000 players have been updated in FM24 based on the official FM26 database and are now available. In addition to players' CA-PA and attributes, their positions have also been updated to match the official FM26 data.
About Wonderkids&Missing; If you are using the Sortitoutsi FM24 transfer update or files that add new staff, do not use my Wonderkids mod simultaneously to avoid bugs and player duplicates. My mod is compatible with TheNotoriousPr0’s update. Essentially, avoid mixing my wonderkids mod with any other updates that include new wonderkids or staff.
Footballer reputations: Player reputations have been converted and updated from FM26 to FM24. The data for over 6,000 players has been updated using FM26 data. You can use this by downloading the file named '5edT_Players_Reputations_Update'. Enjoy!

I can't see the database in the game. I download the rar file and open it up to a fmf. file and then put it in the editor data map but when i boot up the game it doesn't show upp when I try to start a new save. Can anybody help me?

This was created for the latest FM24 version 24.3.0 and there are no issues with it. After extracting the file from the RAR, you need to copy the .fmf file to this path: Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data. Once you start a New Career, the file should be available for selection.

Yes, I’m working on it right now. It's taking some time because there are so many players, but I believe 5edT v2 will be ideal for everyone.
Almost all of the 40-45 high-quality leagues in the database (including lower leagues) will have their attributes and CA/PA values converted. Beyond these leagues, most other players will also be updated.

I installed them and enabled them for a entirely new save, but they don’t seem to take effect—the CA/PAs are still stale. I’m on a Mac, version 2430.

Hi, I followed the step-by-step installation instructions, v1 and v2 are ticked enabled, but when creating the save file everything is exactly like the original game, without the new Wonderkids and without attribute changes.
I tested it on Database 24.3.0, Windows 11, without using any other .fmf file, to make sure it's not a conflict with other files. No luck.

How to Find the FM24 Editor Data Folder on Mac
On macOS, Football Manager files are not located in the standard "Documents" folder. They are kept in a hidden Library folder. Follow these steps to find it:
Open Finder.
Click on the "Go" menu in the top menu bar (next to File, Edit, View).
Press and hold the Option (Alt) key on your keyboard. You will see "Library" appear in the dropdown menu. Click on it.
Once inside the Library folder, navigate to: Application Support > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2024
Look for a folder named editor data.
Note: If this folder does not exist, right-click, create a new folder, and name it exactly editor data (all lowercase).
Move your downloaded .fmf files into this folder.
Pro Tip for Sharing
If you want to give them the direct shortcut path, you can tell them to:
Open Finder.
Press Command + Shift + G.
Paste this line: ~/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/editor data

In my case, I'm using Windows 11. I'm sure the files are in the right folder, since I have others .fmf files from update transfer window that are working normally, but this specific one isn't, even after creating the save file without using other .fmf files for testing purposes.
V1 and V2 filed are placed in: “C:\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data”
Both are ticked when creating the save file, update 24.3.0, no luck yet.

I sent my previous response both to you and to address the issues Mac users are having. I already told you that there is nothing wrong with the files! Just to be sure, I double-checked everything for you and created a new save using both the v1 and v2 editor files. CA/PA and Attributes appear fully updated as they should be, and wonderkids are showing up correctly—so there are no issues with the files.I don't know what the cause of your problem is, but there are no issues with the v1 and v2 update files I created for FM24.

I am the Mac user. Yes I followed the instructions and did get to the step where I was able to select the .fmfs you provided in the game. But after loading, the player attributes just remain unchanged. I use other .fmfs and they just work fine. But anyway, thanks for creating it & happy new year.

Hi, really appreciate the work on this mod but I am having the same issues too, where the changes are not reflecting in a new save(Im on windows 10 and the only 2 files in my editor data file are the v1 and v2 files).
I opened the v1 file in the fm24 editor and Im seeing all the changes as “failed changes” and this could be the issue thats making the changes not show up. v2 file also has lots of players with "failed changes"
Would appreciate it if you can take a look and fix these!

I've realized that because I used the tools in Turkish while making the FM24 CA-PA updates, the changes don't appear correctly when the game is played in English or other languages. I noticed that everything works perfectly in the Turkish version, but there are missing parts in other languages. I will fix this localization issue and re-upload the update as soon as possible!

FIXED: Player Attributes/CA-PA not updating. This was caused by a language bug. To fix it, you MUST set the game language to English only while creating a new career. Once the save is created, you can switch back to any language.

Before the latest update, player attributes weren't updating for many users in FM24. I've realized this bug was language-specific; while it worked fine in Turkish, other languages were bugged. With the latest update, English has become the main language of the mod to ensure full compatibility. To avoid any issues, simply set your game language to English before starting a new career; once the save is created, you can switch back and play in any language you prefer. Did anyone else encounter this issue while playing in other languages?

The issue where some players' names appeared as '0' in v1 and v2 has been fixed. When starting a new career and selecting the editor files (v1 and v2), please make sure your game language is set to English! Have fun!
